Only the area being treated varies. The donor grafts come from the back of the head and the method remains FUE.
FUE method, no cuts or stitches

Donor grafts are taken at the back of the head and moved through micro-punctures of about 1 mm, leaving no scars. The doctor talks the shape over with you before the operation, allowing for your facial features. Transplanted hair grows for life, so the beard can be trimmed and styled as usual.

At the very first consultation the surgeon pencils in the brow line, you both go over reference images, and the drawing is matched to the proportions of your face. Process
From consultation to going home — all in one day
For patients in Lublin, the starting point is a talk about DHI and FUE, answers to their questions, and an examination of the donor zone.
Booking the date involves a deposit — payable by card in person or transferred online — with all conditions set out in a medical services contract.
Before surgery day, the required tests are completed with the help of a list and instructions provided by the clinic.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, so the operation itself is painless.
From the occipital area or the temples, the grafts are taken, and the skin is left without a single stitch.
For patients in Lublin, surgeons set the harvested grafts into the bald area.
For patients in Lublin, supplies and complete directions come from the clinic to speed the healing along.
Crusts come off and swelling goes down while the area recovers
Part of the process: shafts are shed while the roots hold on
Little by little the area fills in, and the difference shows
The hair grows stronger, the main volume and shape show
A natural-looking hairline and final density form
Free, well before surgery and with no obligation.

I traveled to City Medical Centre, where they helped me overcome hair loss through a transplant to the balding areas of my scalp. I am grateful to the doctors for performing the procedure painlessly.

I am sharing my experience, because before the operation I went through a pile of reviews myself and was looking for real stories. I had a beard transplant six months ago. Honestly, in the first days after the procedure I felt a little jittery: my face looked unfamiliar, there was slight swelling and small scabs. In the first couple of months the hair partly fell out, as the doctor had warned. But now the result truly makes me very happy) From about the 4th month active, even growth began. The transplanted hair took very well, the beard now looks as natural as possible, no bald patches are left. The beard became much thicker and denser, with the shape I had thought about for a long time. All in all, I recommend the clinic, the doctor was polite and explained everything 👍 The result is definitely worth it!

Standard questions
People often say hair implants, but no artificial hair is used. In a hair transplant the doctor moves your own follicles (grafts) from the donor area to thinning or bald areas using FUE or DHI.
Yes. People from all manner of towns and countries form a large part of the practice, and an online consultation opens everything.
FUE costs $2,200 (≈ PLN 8,600), DHI costs $2,500 (≈ PLN 9,800), and the combined DHI+FUE method costs $2,700 (≈ PLN 11,000). The exact amount is confirmed at a free consultation after your grafts are counted, and it is fixed in the contract.
Everything happens across one day, and nobody is admitted overnight.
It helps with stable pattern hair loss and a receding hairline when there are enough donor grafts. Some types of alopecia need treatment first; the doctor checks this at the consultation.
No. With the scalp numbed locally, patients feel no pain.
FUE is the classic method: grafts are harvested with tweezers, with no cuts or stitches. DHI implants grafts without channels, using a Choi pen. A combined method harvests grafts by FUE and implants them with the DHI pen.
Your graft count is worked out for free by the doctor during the consultation, based on the donor zone.
0–10 days for healing, 2–4 weeks for normal shedding of transplanted hair, 3–4 months for new growth to start, 6–9 months for real density, and 12–18 months for the final result.
Your procedure includes a lifetime hair-growth guarantee under contract.

The procedure asks one day of a patient in Lublin and nothing more dramatic than local anaesthesia. FUE and DHI involve no incisions and no stitches, so there are no stitched wounds to look after.
You can begin in Lublin without leaving home: the online consultation is free, and the doctor looks at photos of the thinning area and counts how many grafts it will take. The clinic is reachable 24/7, so a message fits your schedule.
Recovery is measured in 0-10 days, after which the calendar matters more than the mirror: at 2-4 weeks the transplanted hairs shed, which is normal, and only at 3-4 months does growth get going.
Prices are in US dollars; the amount in brackets is an approximate conversion to PLN at the rate of 02.10.2026. The final price is fixed in your contract.

Lublin has a humid continental climate (Dfb in the 1991-2020 normals). That makes the scalp face two quite different seasons within one year. July has a mean maximum of 24.5 °C and a mean minimum of 13.6 °C, and August is almost identical at 24.3 °C and 13.1 °C. January has a mean maximum of -0.1 °C and a mean minimum of -4.9 °C. The records go further in both directions: 38.0 °C in June and -33.7 °C in January. A person planning a transplant in this city should expect to spend part of the recovery in one of these extremes, and the plan should be built with that in mind.
Cold matters for a transplanted scalp mostly through headwear. In the first days the treated area is covered with crusts and slight swelling, and a hat that rubs the recipient zone is a bad idea. On the service side, the consultation includes advice on washing your hair, on sleep and on headwear. In a Lublin winter the headwear question is practical rather than theoretical, because the city has about 67.5 snowy days a year. The doctor and your coordinator will tell you what kind of covering is acceptable during the early healing period and when you can return to ordinary hats. Do not improvise this from forums. A knitted cap that is fine for a person with untouched hair may not be fine at the start of the 0-10 day healing phase.
Heat creates a different set of questions. A scalp that has had thousands of grafts placed in it is a surface you will want to protect from strong summer sun as well as from friction. Lublin's summers are moderate on average, but the record of 38.0 °C in June shows that very hot days do happen. If your surgery date falls in a warm month, ask the coordinator in advance what to wear outdoors and how to manage the first outings. The answer depends on your case, the number of grafts, and the zones treated, so it should come from the doctor and not from a general rule.
The donor area at the back of the head deserves the same attention as the recipient zone. With the FUE method, grafts are taken without incisions or stitches. Those small points still need a period of calm, which is why the care plan covers both the transplant area and the donor area. You can send the coordinator a photo from your own mirror in daylight at any stage and ask whether what you see fits the expected course.
Lublin gets about 1,821.3 hours of sunshine a year. Of those, roughly 263 hours fall in each of June and July, while December has only 30.3 hours. That is a stark contrast, and it is relevant to scalp planning in two ways.
First, the sunny months are the months when you must be most deliberate about covering the head during the early recovery. A bright June day with a record-level temperature is not the moment to walk around bare-headed with a freshly treated scalp. Second, the dark months give a certain convenience. In December, with little sun and an air humidity that reaches 89.5%, outdoor exposure of the scalp is low, and a soft covering is normal anyway. Neither season is a verdict for or against surgery. They are inputs that shift what you will need to do in the first days.
Humidity in Lublin averages 80.1% across the year. November sits at 89.0% and December at 89.5%, while April is the driest at 70.5%. For the reader this means damp air, wet snow and slush in the colder months. Wet headwear is worth thinking about: a cap soaked on a rainy November day is not the same as a dry one. The coordinator can tell you how to handle a wet covering in the early phase and what to do if you get caught in rain. The practical point is to carry a clean spare cover and not to wait for the next follow-up to ask.
Precipitation is spread unevenly. The year brings 601.0 mm of precipitation over 166.9 days, with July the wettest at 82.2 mm, followed by May at 70.7 mm and June at 66.8 mm. The driest months are February at 31.5 mm and January at 33.6 mm. That means summer storms and spring showers are more likely to interrupt an outing than winter is, and a person who needs to keep a healing scalp covered in the right way will find both rain and bright sun in the warm half of the year. Neither is a reason to cancel a date; both are reasons to prepare.
Hair itself responds to the environment less quickly than the skin does. The transplanted hairs go through a shedding stage 2-4 weeks after the operation, which the service describes as normal: only the hairs shed, and the follicles stay in place. A cold snap or a rainy week does not create that shedding. What the weather can do is tempt a person to panic about it. When you notice hairs coming away in the second or third week, it is worth messaging the coordinator and comparing what you see with the expected stage before you assume something went wrong.
Because the result takes a long time to appear, a surgery date is best treated as the start of a calendar. The service describes the course as follows: 0-10 days of healing, shedding at 2-4 weeks, first growth at 3-4 months, density showing at 6-9 months, and the final result at 12-18 months. Follow-up visits are set at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. Here is how that looks for someone in Lublin who chooses a date after 1 November 2026.
Take an operation in mid-November 2026. The first ten days of healing would run into late November, when humidity is among the highest of the year at 89.0% and temperatures are near freezing. Shedding at 2-4 weeks would fall in December. The first growth at 3-4 months would show in March 2027, and the stage of density at 6-9 months would run from about May to August 2027. The final result window of 12-18 months would then be roughly November 2027 to May 2028. In this scenario the dark months cover the stage when you most want to be low-profile, and the visible result begins to appear as spring brings more daylight.
Now take an operation in late January 2027. The healing phase would fall in the coldest part of the year, with the January mean minimum at -4.9 °C. The shedding stage would run through February, and first growth would come in May or June. The density stage would extend into the autumn of 2027, and the final result window would be roughly January 2028 to July 2028. Here the early weeks are cold and wet in the head-covering sense, while the visible growth arrives in the sunniest months. Whether that is comfortable depends on how you feel about wearing a cap during the healing period and about being out in strong summer sun while the new hairs are still thin.
A third choice is a date in spring 2027, say late April. Healing would run into early May, shedding into May and June, first growth in August or September, density from late autumn onward, and the final result between about April 2028 and October 2028. This option takes the early recovery through months with more rain but milder air, and it gives you the tail of the shedding stage in the brightest weeks of the year, when you will want to think about sun cover.
None of these scenarios is a recommendation, and the real plan depends on the doctor's assessment. What matters is that you choose consciously. The consultation is online and free, and coordinators answer round the clock on WhatsApp and Telegram, so you can compare two or three possible dates without any commitment before the date is confirmed.
The procedure itself takes one day at the clinic, under local anaesthesia, but the weeks around it need some thought. Poland has 14 public non-working days: 1 January, 6 January (Epiphany), Easter Sunday and Monday, 1 May, 3 May, Pentecost Sunday, Corpus Christi, 15 August, 1 November, 11 November, 24 December (since 2025), and 25 and 26 December. For anyone planning a follow-up conversation or a return to work, these dates determine when offices and workplaces are closed and when you might have a few days at home anyway.
The early healing phase is a stretch in which many people prefer not to be in busy public places. A date placed just before a block of non-working days in late December and early January can therefore make the first days easier to manage. Someone who operates in the second half of December 2026 would have the first days of healing coincide with 24, 25 and 26 December, 1 January and 6 January. The downside is that the festive period tends to involve family gatherings and photographs, and you should ask yourself whether you will be comfortable with visible crusts and swelling during those days. The upside is less work pressure and fewer reasons to go outdoors.
Lublin also has a large student population, about 35% of the city's residents, with the Catholic University of Lublin (founded 1918) and Maria Curie-Sklodowska University as the main universities. local records gives about 70 thousand students in the city (2016 estimate). For a student or a university employee, the academic calendar is as important as the public holidays. The Student Culture Days run for about three weeks between May and June, which is a social stretch many students will want to take part in, while exam periods call for a quiet routine. A person who wants fewer questions from classmates might choose a date outside those weeks. Again, this is a personal calculation and not a medical rule.
Summer events also shape the calendar. The Night of Culture falls on the first Saturday night of June, East of Culture runs in late June, the Carnaval Sztukmistrzow and the Urban Highline Festival fall in the last days of July, and the Jagiellonian Fair takes place in late August. The St Nicholas Day Folk Music Festival comes in the first decade of December. If you know that you want to be at a particular event with a settled scalp, count backwards using the stages above. Someone who wants the transplanted area to look calmer at the end-of-July events would need to have chosen a date long before, since the visible result takes months to appear. It is better to know this at the start than to be surprised by it in July.
Poland's public health fund, NFZ, finances services listed in its list of publicly funded services. NFZ's patient information states that services not listed in those catalogues are not financed by the fund, and that within the publicly funded range treatment is in most cases free for the insured patient. For anyone in Lublin comparing options, it helps to understand how this distinction works. A cosmetic or elective procedure should not be assumed to fall within the publicly funded range. The coordinator will not make that decision for you, but you can ask the coordinator what to tell your own family doctor if you want a general medical check-up before the operation.
Waiting lists are a separate matter. NFZ's rule is that for a given service a patient may be entered on a waiting list with only one provider, and the original referral must be delivered within 14 working days of entering the list. This is relevant mainly for other treatments you may need in parallel. If you are also waiting for a publicly financed procedure elsewhere, your hair transplant plan should not disturb that process. The Ministry of Health reply from August 2025 on orthopaedic waiting times, which fell from 195 days in 2022 to 172 days in 2024 for hip replacement and from 242 to 214 days for knee replacement, shows that waits for publicly financed procedures can be long, so plan your calendar knowing that medical commitments of that kind will take priority.
The health insurance contribution is 9% of personal income, of which 7.75% is deducted from tax and 1.25% paid directly to NFZ, and uninsured patients pay the full cost of services. These facts explain why a private online consultation is a separate path. The consultation is free, the price is set after the grafts are counted and is fixed in the contract, and no extra payments are added on the day of surgery. If you have private insurance, ask the insurer whether an elective hair procedure is covered; many such policies exclude it, and the coordinator can tell you what documents the clinic can provide.
One more point concerns your general health. The list of conditions that make a transplant unsuitable includes diabetes mellitus, epilepsy, serious heart conditions, a pacemaker, HIV or hepatitis B/C, pulmonary embolism, cancer and intolerance to anaesthetics. A national picture of metabolic health is relevant here: in Poland in 2019, 58.2% of adults had overweight or obesity, and NIK data for 2022 give 29.0% for Lubelskie on a measure that is not identical to prevalence. These figures do not say anything about hair, but they are a reminder that chronic conditions are common, and that an honest discussion of your health history at the consultation matters. Send your coordinator the details early so that the doctor can say whether further tests or a conversation with your own physician are needed.
Neither season is better as such. Winter in Lublin is cold and damp, with a January mean minimum of -4.9 °C, humidity near 89% in November and December and about 67.5 snowy days a year, so you will need a covering that suits the early healing phase. Summer is milder on average, with a July mean maximum of 24.5 °C, but it is much sunnier, with about 263 hours of sun in June and July, and the record high of 38.0 °C shows that very hot days occur. The doctor will advise on covering and sun protection for the date you choose.
Using the stages described by the service, healing runs for 0-10 days, shedding of the transplanted hairs falls at 2-4 weeks, first growth appears at 3-4 months, density shows at 6-9 months, and the final result comes at 12-18 months. For a mid-November 2026 date, that means shedding in December, first growth around March 2027, and the final result between about November 2027 and May 2028. These are general stages, and the doctor explains your own course at the consultation.
The consultation includes advice on washing your hair, on sleep and on headwear, because the treated area needs protection from friction in the early phase. Which kind of covering is suitable, and from which day, depends on your case, so ask the coordinator before the date is confirmed. Because Lublin has damp air and snow in the colder months, it is sensible to carry a clean spare cover.
There is no blanket rule, but it helps to count backwards. Events such as the Night of Culture in early June or the Jagiellonian Fair in late August are crowded, bright and often warm. If you want your scalp to look as calm as possible, remember that crusts and swelling belong to the first 0-10 days and shedding to weeks 2-4. The coordinator can help you place the operation date so that these stages fall outside the dates that matter to you.
They can. Poland has 14 public non-working days, including 1 and 6 January, Easter Sunday and Monday, 1 and 3 May, 15 August, 1 and 11 November and 24, 25 and 26 December. They affect when workplaces and offices are closed, and they may be a convenient period for the quiet first days at home. Coordinators answer round the clock on WhatsApp and Telegram, so questions during a holiday period do not have to wait.
NFZ finances services listed in its list of publicly funded services, and services that are not listed are not financed by the fund. Do not assume that an elective procedure is covered. Ask your coordinator what documents you can receive, and check with your insurer if you have private cover. The price is set after the grafts are counted and is fixed in the contract.
Students make up about 35% of the city's population, so the academic calendar is a real factor. Many people prefer a time without exams and without the three-week Student Culture Days, which run between May and June. Since the final result takes 12-18 months, think about the whole timeline rather than a single semester. The doctor and coordinator can help you compare two or three dates before anything is booked.
The consultation is online, so you only need a phone. Send photos of the donor area at the back of the head and of the thinning zones through WhatsApp or Telegram, preferably in daylight, and the doctor will look at the donor area, count the grafts and describe the result you can expect. The first online consultation is free, with no booking of surgery required.
