Did Wersow have breast augmentation? Yes, she told her viewers

In the video she said: “I decided on breast augmentation and it was not a sudden, spontaneous or ill-considered decision. I’m 25 and I had been thinking about it for several years.” At first she did not have the money, then she was afraid of the pain, and then she was afraid of what people would say, which, she admitted, scared her most. She also said that her mistakes had often been pointed out online, which made her even more afraid to talk about it.

She added a clear message to her audience: “I don’t want to encourage anyone to have this procedure. It should be an individual, well-considered decision.” In the same material she described her stay in hospital and the first days at home, which she called very hard: the first two nights were the worst, and the pain was stronger than she had expected. A few weeks later, as WP Kobieta reported in July 2021, she told fans on Instagram Stories that she felt much better, had a wider range of movement, could lift most everyday objects and was returning to normal life. The only things she still missed were the gym and life without a special support bra.

Implants usually last about 10–15 years before they need to be replaced, so a future operation should be part of the plan from the start, whatever the implant brand promises.

Before surgery the clinic asks for blood tests, a coagulation panel, infection tests, an ECG, a chest X-ray and a breast ultrasound. Blood-thinning medicines, steroids and hormonal drugs are stopped in agreement with the doctor; oral contraceptives are usually paused at least a month before. The surgeon also explains the possible complications, including hematoma, seroma, infection, changes in nipple sensitivity, capsular contracture and asymmetry.

Compression garments are worn for 4–6 weeks; fitness, swimming, the pool and the sea come back after 4–6 weeks, and strength training after three months. The timeline below shows the usual stages.
