The surgeon looks at your case and confirms the price, so you know it before you book.
Discuss it online with a coordinator, after sending them a few photos. The first consultation is free and without obligation, and you decide on surgery only afterwards.

You and the surgeon choose together at the consultation, after your lids are examined. The operation may involve the upper lids, the lower lids, or both in one go, and the incision is placed differently depending on the approach.
Upper blepharoplasty
Incision in the natural eyelid crease

Main goal
Remove excess skin of the upper lids
Best suited when
Lids feel heavy, or skin folds rest on the lashes
Approach
Scar is hidden in the crease when the eye is open
Lower blepharoplasty
Incision below the lash line or inside the lid
Price at consultation
Main goal
Treat under-eye bags and loose lower-lid skin
Best suited when
There is puffiness, or loose skin under the eyes
Approach
Inside-the-lid approach has no skin incision, for fat

At the consultation the surgeon explains every step and puts together a plan for your case.
If there is a way to solve your concern without surgery, you will be told so honestly by the surgeon. Surgery is an option only when it suits your health and goals.

Not sure which column applies to you?
Using Telegram or WhatsApp, send a coordinator your photos. The surgeon studies them and gives an opinion, and the decision about surgery stays entirely with you.
Before each stage begins, it is explained to you, so you always know the next step and who to turn to.
1
Online consultation and plan
Online, you share photos and speak with the surgeon. Your wishes are discussed together, and a plan is outlined for the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids, or both.
2
Choosing and booking the date
After confirmation of the plan and the price, the date is yours to choose. Coordinators are available around the clock for questions and help with arrangements.
3
Pre-operative preparation and tests
Before surgery, the surgeon reviews your history and medicines, and you undergo an eye assessment, photographs and standard tests. Only the surgeon's instructions determine when blood-thinning medicines and supplements are stopped; smoking should end as advised.
4
The operation
The surgeon and anaesthetist choose between local anaesthesia with sedation and general anaesthesia. During the operation, excess skin is removed and, where needed, small amounts of fat are repositioned or removed.
5
The first hours and days
Some swelling and bruising around the eyes is normal. Help comes from cold compresses and sleeping with the head raised, while an overnight stay depends on the individual.
6
Recovery and follow-up
Usually within the first week, stitches that do not dissolve are removed. Swelling settles over the first couple of weeks, follow-up checks are scheduled by the surgeon, and the final contour settles over several months.
In your consultation you will hear from the surgeon how the operation would go for you personally.
The first consultation is free and without obligation. To begin, message a coordinator on Telegram or WhatsApp with a few photos, and the surgeon will review your case and outline a plan online.
The surgeon takes out excess skin, and where needed moves or removes small amounts of fat, with muscle sometimes tightened. Local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia is selected by the surgeon together with the anaesthetist.
Recovery is individual. Swelling and bruising are normal and settle over the first couple of weeks, and many people return to desk work after one to two weeks. Avoid contact lenses, eye make-up, strenuous exercise and heavy lifting as advised.
Incisions differ between the lids. In the upper lid it follows the natural crease, so the scar is hidden when the eye is open; in the lower lid it is just below the lash line, or inside the lid with no skin incision.
Risks are discussed by the surgeon before surgery, among them temporary dryness or irritation of the eyes, bruising, asymmetry, infection and scarring. Rarely, a change in vision or difficulty closing the eyes fully may occur.
A number of situations can make surgery unsuitable or call for clearing first. They are uncontrolled high blood pressure or diabetes, clotting disorders, severe dry-eye disease, active infection, unstable thyroid eye disease, serious heart or lung disease, pregnancy and age under 18.
Several months pass before the final contour settles. You can expect a long-lasting result, though you will go on ageing naturally. Lifting the eyebrows or cheeks, removing pigmentation dark circles and erasing fine wrinkles are not what the operation does.
Extent of surgery, meaning upper, lower or both lids, and the chosen anaesthesia are what it depends on. The surgeon's assessment comes first, then the price is confirmed, and only after that do you book.
Your path to eyelid surgery in Prague, step by step
Eyelid surgery works on the skin and fat of the eyelids, not on the brows or cheeks. Patients in Prague often ask about it because of puffiness or bags under the eyes, or because the skin of the lower lids has become loose. Upper and lower lids can be treated in one operation, and that choice is made at the consultation.
From Prague you can do the first step entirely online: photographs, a conversation and your questions. The surgeon confirms which lids should be treated and how. Local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia is chosen individually, and an overnight stay is decided case by case. Recovery is gradual, and the final contour settles over several months.
Our coordinators work 24/7 on Telegram and WhatsApp, so a question from Prague never has to wait for office hours. Send your photographs, take part in the free first consultation and hear the surgeon's view. The price is confirmed after the surgeon's assessment, before you book.
