What to expect
A personal correction plan, inpatient observation and a year of recovery monitoring.
1The surgeon looks at your figure, talks through your wishes and picks the best volume, shape and correction method.
2We hold a surgery date for you. You can pay the deposit by card at the clinic or online by bank transfer; all terms are set out in the contract for medical services
3Before surgery you complete a full set of tests: blood tests, an ECG and other examinations prescribed by the doctor.
4Mammoplasty is performed according to your individual plan. The surgery is done under general anesthesia while your condition is monitored throughout.
5Once the operation is over, you stay in the clinic's comfortable ward under the medical team's supervision until discharge.
6A recovery programme is prescribed after surgery. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months follow your recovery, and for a year after surgery you consult your surgeon for free.

Ahead of surgery, pause any aspirin-containing medicines, steroids and hormonal drugs taken for chronic conditions
Oral hormonal contraceptives should be stopped no less than a month before the procedure
Take your tests a week before surgery
Before surgery, follow a few simple steps: keep a healthy work-rest balance, sleep more, avoid stress, anxiety and strong emotions, and reduce physical activity.
For as long as 40 days, stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics; light cardio is possible after a month. Monitor your diet and meals.
After 3 weeks, post-op swelling disappears
Discomfort disappears after 3 months
Scars form in 3 weeks
No strenuous activity (lifting over 3 kg)
All inflammatory tissue changes settle within 3 months, and a “pocket” develops around the implant
Compression garments are worn for 1–1.5 months as part of recovery after correction
Keep arms below shoulder level — 3 weeks
For up to three months, no baths, no saunas and no physiotherapy

FAQ
There are several types of mammoplasty: augmentation (bigger volume with implants), reduction (removal of excess tissue and skin), mastopexy (a lift for sagging), reconstruction (after mastectomy) and correction of asymmetry. The best approach is chosen individually, considering your wishes and the surgeon's recommendation.
Message us — our coordinator will get back to you shortly and book your consultation. The plastic surgeon consultation is free.
When all recommendations are followed, complications are rare. They can include hematoma or seroma, wound infection, reduced or heightened nipple sensitivity, capsular contracture, aesthetic asymmetry, wound separation and tissue necrosis.
Mammoplasty results hold for a long time, roughly 10–15 years after augmentation (up until implant replacement) and 5–10 years after a lift or reduction. Weight, pregnancy, the aging of skin and gravity play a role in duration. Supportive underwear and weight control help maintain the result.
Whether breastfeeding remains possible after mammoplasty depends on the type of operation. With augmentation via an under-breast or armpit incision and the implant beneath the muscle, lactation is usually preserved, as the glandular tissue is spared. After a lift or reduction the risk is higher because ducts may be cut. Talk it through with your surgeon beforehand.
Implants are chosen by material (silicone appears most natural, saline is used less frequently), shape (round or anatomical teardrop), surface (smooth or textured), size and profile. Your surgeon selects the option that best suits your anatomy and wishes.
The operation is done under general anesthesia, so the patient feels nothing. Over the first 1–3 days moderate discomfort may occur and is eased with painkillers. By day 5–7 pain drops noticeably, and by weeks 2–3 the discomfort has gone. If the pain is severe, let your doctor know at once.
You can return to work (without physical exertion) after 7–14 days. Light walks after 1–2 weeks. Fitness and swimming after 4–6 weeks, strength training after 3 months. Pool and sea after 4–6 weeks. Wear compression garments for 4–6 weeks. Exact timing depends on your recovery.
No scientific evidence shows that mammoplasty raises the risk of breast cancer, and implants do not cause cancer. After surgery, continue regular screening with self-exams, mammography and ultrasound, and always tell the examining doctor that you have implants.
Mammoplasty after a C-section is an option, though the body should recover fully beforehand. Wait at least 6–12 months after delivery and after you finish breastfeeding. You will need a surgeon's consultation and check-up before surgery.
Scars after mammoplasty are unavoidable, but with a skilled surgeon they stay minimal. Incisions are made in hidden places, namely under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. Scars look reddish during the first months, but within 6–12 months they fade to almost invisible.
Slight asymmetry early on, in the first weeks after surgery, is normal and is due to swelling and uneven healing. If the difference in shape or size persists after 3–6 months, get examined by your surgeon to identify the cause.
Temporary changes in nipple and breast sensitivity, reduced or heightened, can occur after mammoplasty. The reason is irritation of nerve endings. For most patients sensitivity comes back within 3–12 months. If a year passes without improvement, see your surgeon.
There is no direct effect of hormonal drugs (contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy) on implants, but swelling or changes in breast tissue volume may occur and temporarily affect appearance. Let your surgeon know about these medications before surgery.

Augmentation mammoplasty is an elective aesthetic operation carried out under general anesthesia. It is chosen by women in Ilesa who want more volume or a corrected contour. Anatomical precision matters here: the plastic surgeon marks the new breast position, plans the access around your anatomy and fits an implant that respects your proportions, keeping the look natural rather than artificial.
Here is the route in brief. Consultation and choice of implants. Lab tests and instrumental examinations. Surgery lasting on average 1.5 to 3 hours. One day under round-the-clock observation. Then a recovery program with swelling control and compression garments, plus check-ups at one week, three months and half a year. Women in Ilesa follow this same sequence.
If you are comparing breast augmentation prices in Ilesa, check what each offer includes. Here the all-inclusive rate from $4,700 (≈ ₦6,300,000) already covers anesthesia, the clinic stay, meals, dressings and a year of check-ups with the plastic surgeon. Apply before the end of the year and your consultation is at the clinic's expense. Fill in the form or message the coordinator.

I went to Dmitry Sergeyevich for breast augmentation with implants. At the consultation everything was explained in detail, and together we chose the best size. The operation under combined anaesthesia took 2 hours, and I was discharged home the next day. The swelling went down in about a month, and my breasts look very natural. The year of follow-up care is a real lifesaver: you can always ask a question and get an answer. Thank you to the clinic!

Ilesa, also written Ilesha, is a historic city in Osun State, southwest Nigeria. It is the capital of the old Ijesha state-kingdom, whose ruler carries the title Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland. The city has about 325000 inhabitants. A city with deep roots and close family networks shapes how people decide on surgery: the choice is rarely made alone, and relatives, friends and sometimes community elders hear about it sooner or later.
Breast augmentation is a planned operation, so it suits a calm, well-prepared approach. Women in Ilesa who consider it usually want to settle three things before anything else: who will perform the operation, how recovery will fit around work and family duties, and what the result will look like in everyday clothing. This text is built around those questions and ties every step to life in Ilesa.
The centre works with patients remotely. You begin from home, in your own city, with a free online consultation. Coordinators are available around the clock (24/7) on Telegram and Telegram, so you can write when it suits you, whether that is after a workday, in a quiet evening or during a break between family commitments. Nobody has to rush you into a decision.
The first question is almost always about safety and anaesthesia. General anaesthesia is used for the surgery itself, so there is no sensation during the operation. The hospital stay is 1 day or 1–2 days depending on the plan, and medical staff monitor you 24/7 during that time.
The second question is about discomfort afterwards. In the first 1–3 days you may feel moderate discomfort, which painkillers relieve. Pain subsides significantly by day 5–7 and discomfort is gone by weeks 2–3. If pain becomes severe, inform your doctor right away. Many women in Ilesa also want to know whether they can manage ordinary household tasks, and the answer depends on what those tasks involve, as discussed below.
The third group of questions concerns scars, sensitivity and how natural the result will look. Patients ask about implant size, shape and position, and whether the shape will suit a slim or a fuller frame. These are best discussed with the surgeon on the basis of your photos, your measurements and your wishes. A good surgeon explains the options and limits plainly.
Ilesa lies in southwest Nigeria, and many residents live with strong sun, warm days and dust at various times of the year. Whatever season you choose, the principles are the same. Compression garments stay on for 4–6 weeks, and after a correction recovery involves 1–1.5 months of compression garments, so plan for wearing them in warm weather. Choose breathable, soft, well-fitting garments, keep spare ones to change into, and keep the skin clean and dry.
Direct sun on healing skin and fresh scars is best avoided. Early on, scars are reddish, and over 6–12 months they fade and become almost unnoticeable. Cover the area with loose clothing outdoors, do not sunbathe, and ask the surgeon what to apply to the scars and when. Sweating under a garment can irritate the skin, so tell your doctor about any rash or redness.
Swelling after surgery goes away after 3 weeks. Heat can make swelling feel more noticeable, so rest in the shade, drink enough fluids and avoid long periods standing in hot, crowded places. Dust is a practical concern for dressings and wounds: keep the recovery room and surfaces clean, and follow the wound care instructions your surgeon provides.
There is no single correct month. The better question is which period of your year in Ilesa is calm enough to give you rest. Pick a time without a major event, an exam deadline or a heavy workload in the first weeks. The earliest stage is the most demanding: no lifting arms above shoulder height for 3 weeks, and no heavy exertion, meaning no lifting of more than 3 kg.
Think about family occasions. Weddings, naming ceremonies, funerals and festivals matter greatly in a city with strong Yoruba traditions, and attendance often involves long hours, dressing up, cooking and carrying. If one is coming, leave a margin. Swelling goes away after 3 weeks, but the breast settles more slowly: discomfort fades after 3 months, and in 3 months any inflammatory changes in the tissue disappear and a pocket forms around the implant.
If you want to look your best at a particular event, plan well ahead and allow for that three-month period. Slight asymmetry in the first weeks is normal because of swelling and uneven healing. If shape or size still differ after 3–6 months, see your surgeon for a check-up to find the reason.
Ilesa is home to people who work in trade, services, teaching, administration and health. There are also students, since the city has schools and colleges, including the College of Technology at Imelu. Office and classroom routines are the easiest to resume: you may go back to work, with no physical exertion, after 7–14 days.
If your work is physical, such as carrying goods at a market stall, lifting children or stock, or long hours on your feet, ask for a longer adjustment. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks, but strength training is allowed only after 3 months. Talk to your employer or family about reduced duties during the first weeks, and arrange for someone else to carry heavy items.
For students, a clear plan helps: arrange notes, assignments and deadlines before the operation so you can rest without worry. Preparing meals in advance or asking a relative to help in the first days eases the load. Timing depends on your recovery, and nobody should push you to return faster than you feel ready.
Food is central to social life in Ilesa, with shared family meals and festive tables. After surgery you can still enjoy it, but monitor your diet and meals. A stable weight helps the result last. Results after mammoplasty last a long while: about 10–15 years for augmentation (until implant replacement). Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect their duration.
Overweight and obesity are recognised by the World Health Organization as an important health issue, and for a surgical patient the practical point is simple: large changes in weight can alter how the breasts look and how the skin sits. Aim for steady habits rather than quick diets, particularly in the months of recovery, and discuss any planned weight loss with your surgeon before the operation.
To maintain the result, choose supportive underwear and control your weight. In the first weeks, light and balanced meals with enough fluids help you feel comfortable. Avoid lifting heavy cooking pots or water containers, because of the limit of 3 kg.
Women in Ilesa who exercise regularly, whether in a gym, at home or in group classes, want to know when they can start again. For as long as 40 days, stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics. Light cardio is possible after a month. Fitness and swimming come after 4–6 weeks, strength training after 3 months, and pool and sea after 4–6 weeks.
These are general guidelines, and your own timeline depends on how you heal. Begin gently, stop if you feel pulling, pain or unusual swelling, and let your surgeon know. A supportive sports bra recommended by the surgeon makes the return more comfortable.
If you swim or attend water-based events, wait until the stated period has passed and the wounds have healed, then increase activity gradually. Do not rush to catch up with friends who exercise; your tissues need time, and a measured approach protects the result.
Prepare a short list before your online consultation. Ask about the type, size and position of the implant, the location of incisions, how long you stay in hospital, what the recovery programme includes and what you should avoid. Ask also what happens if shape or size still differ after 3–6 months, and how sensitivity changes are handled.
Candidates are generally adult women in good health who want a larger or better-proportioned breast and have realistic expectations. Contraindications are decided by the surgeon after examination, and may include certain illnesses, unstable weight, active infection or pregnancy. Mammoplasty after a C-section is possible, but only once your body has fully recovered. Allow at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding stops. A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required before surgery.
There are scars after mammoplasty, though a skilled surgeon keeps them minimal. The incisions go in discreet areas, such as under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. Breast and nipple sensitivity may change for a time, going down or up, because nerve endings are irritated. In the majority of cases sensitivity is restored within 3–12 months. If nothing has improved after a year, consult your surgeon.
Ilesa is the capital of the historic Ijesha kingdom, and its ruler carries the title Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland. Accession to the throne rotates among four royal houses: Biladu, Bilagbayo, Bilaro and Bilayirere. A city that still keeps this structure of lineages and titles is one where family standing and public reputation matter. For a woman planning breast augmentation, this often means deciding in advance who in the family will be told, and when.
Many women in Ilesa find it easier to share the plan with one trusted person: a sister, a close friend or a spouse. Choose that person before the operation, because during the first 3 weeks you will need someone to carry anything heavier than 3 kg and to keep your arms below shoulder height tasks in check. Having one informed helper is more practical than explaining your absence to a whole compound or extended household.
Royal and community occasions in a historic seat of a kingdom can bring long days of dressing up and standing. If your family belongs to one of the lineages connected to such events, ask yourself honestly whether you can attend in the first weeks. Swelling goes away after 3 weeks, but the tissue is still settling, so an early appearance at a long ceremony is better skipped or kept short.
The oral history of Ilesa tells of Ajibogun Ajaka, the adventurous youngest grandson of Oduduwa, who was away for many years before returning with sea water that restored the sight of the old Olofin. The people of Ijesaland are for that reason sometimes called Omo Obokun, children of the brine procurer. The founding of the kingdom is dated to about 1300.
It is a story about a long absence followed by a successful return, and it is a fair picture of recovery. The first weeks can feel slow, and the visible result comes gradually. Discomfort fades after 3 months, and in 3 months any inflammatory changes in the tissue disappear and a pocket forms around the implant. Judge the outcome at that point, not in the first days when swelling hides the true shape.
Women in Ilesa who know this tale often tell it with pride. Use that spirit of patience: keep your check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months, write down your questions between visits, and send photos to the coordinators when something looks unusual rather than waiting and worrying.
Ilesa has a growing academic life. The University of Ilesa, formerly the College of Education, was established on 31 March 2022 and later upgraded by Governor Ademola Adeleke after a review committee examined the institution. The College of Health Technology is in Imelu, and Ilesa Grammar School celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2024. Teachers, lecturers, students and school staff form a large part of the adult population.
For a lecturer or teacher the practical question is about standing and speaking. Classroom work without physical exertion is possible after 7–14 days, but a long lecture day with a raised arm at the board is not the same as desk work. Do not lift arms above shoulder height for 3 weeks, so plan to use a projector, a seated lesson or a colleague's help with board work at first.
A student can arrange the operation around a break between terms. Before the date, hand in assignments, collect lecture notes and agree deadlines. Do not carry a heavy bag of books: the limit is 3 kg, which a laptop with a few textbooks easily exceeds. Use a light bag or ask a friend to carry your materials until the surgeon allows more.
Ilesa is known for its natural resources, especially gold along the Ilesa gold belt, and exploration for commercially viable deposits has only grown in the last decade. Alongside mining and related services, many residents earn a living through trade, farming produce, transport and small business. Hospitals and schools are important employers too, including the teaching hospital branch at Oke Ayose.
People in trade and transport lift, load and stand for long hours. If you sell at a market stall, ask a relative to run it in your first weeks, or arrange for a helper to handle crates and bags. Strength training is allowed only after 3 months, and everyday heavy lifting should wait for your surgeon's approval. A seated task such as counting stock, taking orders by phone or keeping accounts is a sensible way to stay productive early.
Women working near mining or construction activity should think about dust and heavy tasks in the early weeks. Keep the wound area clean, wear the compression garment as instructed for 4–6 weeks, and return to physical work only when the surgeon agrees. If your income depends on daily labour, discuss a realistic return date with the coordinator before booking, so there are no surprises.
Ilesa has several hospitals and medical centres, among them Wesley Guide Hospital, Oba Adenle Memorial Hospital and Living Petals Medical Center. These serve everyday needs such as colds, fever, blood tests or wound dressings. Your breast augmentation surgeon is a separate matter, and any local visit should be reported to the surgeon so the whole picture of your recovery is known.
Should you need a local doctor for an unrelated illness during recovery, tell them that you had breast surgery, when it took place, and that you wear compression garments. If you notice severe pain, tell your operating doctor right away. Photos of the area sent to the coordinators on Telegram or Telegram help the team judge the situation quickly.
Keep a small folder with your discharge papers, implant information and the dates of your check-ups. Someone in your household should know where it is. The recovery programme with follow-up support for 12 months works best when you report changes early, whether it is swelling, unexpected sensitivity or a doubt about shape.
You write to the coordinators on Telegram or Telegram at any hour, and a coordinator will call you back 24/7. You describe your goals and send photos and basic health information. The online consultation is free. Your time matters to us: we work 24/7, booking is easy, and our personal approach adapts to your pace.
After surgery you get a recovery programme. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months help track your recovery, and for a year after surgery, consultations with your surgeon are free. Follow-up support lasts 12 months, so questions about swelling, garments, scars or return to activity can be raised as they come up.
Take your time with the decision, discuss it with someone you trust, and ask every question you have. A clear, unhurried conversation with the medical team is the best start for a safe and satisfying result.
You may go back to work, with no physical exertion, after 7–14 days. If your job involves lifting or long hours of standing, plan for lighter duties at first. Timing depends on your recovery.
General anaesthesia is used for the surgery itself, so there is no sensation. The stay is 1 day or 1–2 days depending on the plan, with 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
In the first 1–3 days you may feel moderate discomfort, which painkillers relieve. Pain subsides significantly by day 5–7 and discomfort is gone by weeks 2–3. If pain becomes severe, inform your doctor right away.
Compression garments stay on for 4–6 weeks. After a correction, recovery involves 1–1.5 months of compression garments. Choose breathable fabric if the weather is warm.
Stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics for as long as 40 days. Light cardio is possible after a month, fitness and swimming after 4–6 weeks, and strength training after 3 months. Pool and sea are allowed after 4–6 weeks.
About 10–15 years for augmentation, until implant replacement. Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect the duration. Supportive underwear and weight control help maintain the result.
There are scars, though a skilled surgeon keeps them minimal. Incisions go under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. Early on the scars are reddish, but over 6–12 months they fade and are almost unnoticeable.
Mammoplasty after a C-section is possible, but only once your body has fully recovered. Allow at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding stops. A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required.
In the first weeks slight asymmetry is normal because of swelling and uneven healing. If shape or size still differ after 3–6 months, see your surgeon. Nipple sensitivity may change, and in the majority of cases it is restored within 3–12 months.
You get a recovery programme with check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months. Consultations with your surgeon are free for a year, and follow-up support lasts 12 months. A coordinator will call you back 24/7.
That is your own decision. It helps to inform at least one trusted person, because for the first 3 weeks you should avoid lifting more than 3 kg and keep your arms below shoulder height, so practical help at home is useful.
You may return to work without physical exertion after 7–14 days. Avoid raising your arms above shoulder height for 3 weeks, so use a projector or ask a colleague to help with board work at first.
Arrange for a helper to run the stall and lift goods. Do not lift more than 3 kg, and strength training is allowed only after 3 months. Return to physical work when your surgeon agrees.
For unrelated illnesses you can see a local doctor, and you should mention your breast surgery and compression garment. Always inform your operating surgeon, and write to the coordinators, who are available 24/7, if you have any concern.
