During the consultation we discuss your wishes and model the planned changes. The surgeon explains what surgery can achieve, so you know exactly what result to expect.

Your surgeon follows your recovery and the changes in your breast shape for a full year; check-ups and dressings are included in the price.

Your anatomy and wishes determine the shape, volume and correction method. In breast augmentation the implant size and profile are picked individually.

We respect your time: we work 24/7, with easy booking and a personal approach — we adapt to your pace.

After the consultation the surgeon determines the scope of correction, and you receive a clear price for the surgery with no surprises along the way.

Recovery begins in a comfortable inpatient ward under round-the-clock nursing care. The stay and meals are already included in the price.
FAQ
Mammoplasty refers to several procedures: augmentation (adding volume through implants), reduction (cutting away excess tissue and skin), mastopexy (lifting sagging breasts), reconstruction (after mastectomy) and asymmetry correction. The best technique is picked individually, based on what you want and what the surgeon advises.
Message us — our coordinator will get back to you shortly and book your consultation. The plastic surgeon consultation is free.
Complications rarely happen when all recommendations are respected. Possible ones are hematoma or seroma, wound infection, reduced or increased sensitivity of the nipple, capsular contracture, aesthetic asymmetry, wound separation and tissue necrosis.
A mammoplasty result lasts a long time, about 10–15 years after augmentation (until implants need replacing) and 5–10 years after a lift or reduction. Its longevity is affected by weight, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity. Supportive underwear and weight control help preserve it.
Breastfeeding after mammoplasty depends on the procedure. Augmentation through an under-breast or armpit incision with a submuscular implant usually keeps lactation intact, since glandular tissue is not damaged. With a lift or reduction the risk is higher, because ducts may be cut. Be sure to discuss this with your surgeon in advance.
The choice of implant looks at material (silicone looks most natural, while saline is used less often), shape (round or anatomical teardrop), surface (smooth or textured), size and profile. The surgeon will choose what works best for your anatomy and wishes.
The surgery is carried out under general anesthesia, and the patient feels nothing. Moderate discomfort is possible during the first 1–3 days and is relieved by pain medication. Pain falls significantly by day 5–7, and by weeks 2–3 discomfort is over. If you have severe pain, tell your doctor at once.
Work (without physical strain) is possible after 7–14 days. Gentle walks after 1–2 weeks. Fitness and swimming after 4–6 weeks, strength workouts after 3 months. The pool and sea after 4–6 weeks. Compression garments are needed for 4–6 weeks. Exact dates depend on how your recovery goes.
No scientific evidence shows that mammoplasty raises the risk of breast cancer, and implants do not cause cancer. After surgery, continue regular screening with self-exams, mammography and ultrasound, and always tell the examining doctor that you have implants.
Mammoplasty after a C-section is an option, though the body should recover fully beforehand. Wait at least 6–12 months after delivery and after you finish breastfeeding. You will need a surgeon's consultation and check-up before surgery.
Yes, mammoplasty leaves scars, but they are minimal when the surgeon is skilled. The incisions are made in concealed areas, under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. For the first months scars are reddish, then within 6–12 months they fade and become barely visible.
Slight asymmetry is normal in the first weeks after surgery and comes from swelling and uneven healing. When a difference in shape or size lasts beyond 3–6 months, visit your surgeon for an examination to pinpoint the cause.
Breast and nipple sensitivity may change for a time after mammoplasty, going down or up. The cause lies in irritation of nerve endings. In the majority of cases sensitivity is restored within 3–12 months. If nothing has improved after a year, consult your surgeon.
Hormonal drugs (contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy) do not affect implants themselves, but they can cause swelling or a change in breast tissue volume that alters the appearance for a time. Always inform your surgeon about them ahead of surgery.
Prices are in US dollars; the amount in brackets is an approximate conversion to ZAR at the rate of 02.10.2026. The final price is fixed in your contract.
Prices start from $4,700 (≈ R79,000). The surgeon sets the final price at the free consultation, and it is fixed in the contract, with no hidden extras.

This operation suits adult women who wish to restore or increase breast volume, including after childbirth once the body has fully recovered. Surgeons advise waiting at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding ends. Patients from Klerksdorp considering it after a C-section can go ahead too, but a consultation and check-up are mandatory first.
Step one is a meeting with the plastic surgeon to choose size, shape and profile. Step two is a full medical check-up with lab tests, instrumental examinations and, if indicated, a GP, gynecologist or breast specialist. On the day itself, the surgeon marks incisions, places the implant and closes the wound in layers with self-absorbing cosmetic sutures. This is how augmentation goes for Klerksdorp patients.
What do you pay for? From $4,700 (≈ R79,000) covers the operation itself and everything around it: preparation with the surgeon, anesthesia, one day in an inpatient room with meals and 24/7 supervision, then twelve months of dressings, check-ups and surgeon follow-up. Consultations with the plastic surgeon are free. Anyone from Klerksdorp can apply via the form or any messenger to arrange one.

I went to Dmitry Sergeyevich for breast augmentation with implants. At the consultation everything was explained in detail, and together we chose the best size. The operation under combined anaesthesia took 2 hours, and I was discharged home the next day. The swelling went down in about a month, and my breasts look very natural. The year of follow-up care is a real lifesaver: you can always ask a question and get an answer. Thank you to the clinic!

Klerksdorp lies in the North West Province of South Africa, about 165 km southeast of Mahikeng, the provincial capital. It was the first capital of the then Transvaal Republic and once housed the first Stock Exchange in the region. It grew as a trading town linking Kimberley to Johannesburg, home to farmers, miners and immigrants who served both industries. A city with this practical, hard-working history tends to approach elective surgery in a measured way: women here usually want to know how the operation fits around work, children and household routines before they ask about the shape of the implant.
The city is described as a notable medical, retail and educational centre for the North West Province and the northern Free State. Four private hospitals raise its medical standing in the province. That means many residents are used to medical consultations and to the idea of planned treatment. Breast augmentation, however, is a decision that deserves unhurried preparation, and a first conversation with a surgeon is the right place to start.
City Medical Centre offers a free online consultation to patients in Klerksdorp. Coordinators are available around the clock (24/7) on Telegram and Telegram, so you can write when your shift ends or after the children are asleep. A coordinator will call you back 24/7, and booking is easy: we work 24/7, and our personal approach adapts to your pace.
You do not need to leave the city to start. You send a message to a coordinator on Telegram or Telegram, describe your goals, and share your medical history, including pregnancies, earlier operations, allergies and medicines you take. The coordinator arranges an online consultation with a surgeon, which is free. Your time matters to us, so the conversation follows your pace rather than a fixed routine.
During the consultation the surgeon asks about your wishes, your build and your lifestyle, and explains what is realistic. Bring photographs of results you like and, just as useful, photographs of results you do not like. It helps the surgeon to understand your taste and to say honestly what suits your anatomy.
A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required before surgery. The online conversation is the first step in that process, and it lets you compare options, ask questions and think calmly at home in Klerksdorp before taking any decision.
Klerksdorp has a semi-arid climate with warm to hot summers and cool, dry winters. The average annual precipitation is 482 mm, and most of the rain falls in summer. These conditions matter for planning, because the weather in the weeks after surgery shapes how comfortable the early recovery feels.
In summer, heat and strong sun are the main concerns. Compression garments stay on for 4–6 weeks, and in hot weather they can feel warm and tiring. Choose soft, breathable cotton layers to wear over them, keep the house cool, and avoid being outdoors in the hottest part of the day. Heat can also make swelling feel more noticeable, so rest in the shade or indoors and drink plenty of water.
In winter the air is cool and dry. Layers are easy to manage, loose front-opening tops are practical, and the garment is less of a burden. Dry air can make healing skin feel tight, so ask your surgeon which skin care is suitable for the scar area and follow only those instructions.
Rain in summer arrives mostly as storms. If the weather is wet, plan short, light walks indoors or on dry days rather than forcing yourself outside. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks, and the weather should never push you to do more than that.
There is no single correct month, because the choice depends on your calendar. The cooler, dry winter suits many women because compression garments are easier to tolerate and there is less pressure to be in the sun. The hot summer is possible too, but it requires more care with heat, sun on healing scars and comfortable clothing.
Think about what is coming in the first weeks: school terms, work deadlines, family gatherings and holidays. Swelling after surgery goes away after 3 weeks, and discomfort fades after 3 months. If you have an event you want to attend in good form, leave enough time so you are not rushing the recovery.
Scars are reddish early on and fade over 6–12 months, becoming almost unnoticeable. Keep that in mind if you plan to wear swimwear at the dam or in the garden pool: pool and sea are allowed after 4–6 weeks, but your surgeon will tell you how to protect the scars from strong sun.
Klerksdorp's economy rests on mining, retail, education, medicine and agriculture. The district is a major contributor to South African agriculture, with maize, sorghum, groundnuts and sunflower among its crops, and it is home to the largest agricultural co-op in the Southern Hemisphere, Senwes. Several national departments and agencies, such as SARS and the Department of Home Affairs, also have branch offices in the city. Women in Klerksdorp work in offices, banks, shops, schools, hospitals and on farms, and the return to work depends on what the job demands.
You may go back to work after 7–14 days, but with no physical exertion. For an office or administrative job that is realistic. If your work involves lifting, long hours on your feet or physical care of others, discuss this with the surgeon and plan extra time off. Remember the rules of the early period: no heavy exertion, meaning no lifting of more than 3 kg, and no lifting arms above shoulder height for 3 weeks.
The city has many primary and secondary schools, both public and private, so many patients are mothers of school-age children. Plan help for the school run, for carrying shopping, for lifting younger children and for housework in the first weeks. Arrange this before the operation, so that you are not forced to lift anything. Students and teachers can usually return to the classroom after 7–14 days, as long as there is no physical load.
Klerksdorp has an active outdoor life: the Oudorp hiking trail, which is 12 km long, the Faan Meintjies Nature Reserve about 15 km from the city, the Johan Neser Dam, and school athletics at the Harry Oppenheimer Stadium. Many women want to know when they can return to these routines.
Follow the stages. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks. Fitness and swimming come after 4–6 weeks. For as long as 40 days, stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics; light cardio is possible after a month. Strength training is allowed after 3 months. Timing depends on your recovery, and your surgeon has the final word.
A long hike or a day at the nature reserve is better left until the surgeon agrees. When you do go back, wear supportive underwear, protect your skin from the sun and stop if you feel pulling or pain. If you coach, run or play team sports, ask the surgeon about a gradual plan for returning to each activity.
Klerksdorp is a farming and cattle district, known for its Sussex cattle herds, and food culture here often means family gatherings and meals shared with relatives. After surgery, monitor your diet and meals. Heavy, very salty food can make swelling feel worse, and weight changes affect long-term results. Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect the duration of the result, so a steady, balanced diet supports it.
Family events are easy to underestimate. Cooking for many guests, lifting large pots and hosting all involve effort you should avoid in the first weeks. Let relatives help, and schedule the operation so that large gatherings fall after the first 3 weeks, when swelling has gone down.
The World Health Organization notes that overweight and obesity are important health concerns, which is a good reason to discuss your weight and general health honestly with the surgeon before surgery.
General anaesthesia is used for the surgery itself, so there is no sensation during the operation. The hospital stay is 1 day or 1–2 days, depending on the plan, with 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
In the first 1–3 days you may feel moderate discomfort, which painkillers relieve. Pain subsides significantly by day 5–7 and discomfort is gone by weeks 2–3. If pain becomes severe, inform your doctor right away.
Prepare your home in Klerksdorp ahead of time: put everyday items at waist height, arrange loose front-opening clothes, and have someone with you for the first days. Keep your phone near you, because the coordinator can be reached 24/7.
Good candidates are adult women in stable general health who want a change in breast size or shape and who have realistic expectations. Contraindications are decided by the surgeon after examination. In general terms they include serious uncontrolled illness, active infection, and a body that has not yet recovered from pregnancy or breastfeeding. Mammoplasty after a C-section is possible, but only once your body has fully recovered. Allow at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding stops.
Useful questions for the online consultation: Which implant and incision position suit my anatomy? Where will the scars be? What does the recovery programme include? How long will I wear compression garments? When can I go back to my job and to training? What happens if I am unhappy with the shape after a few months?
Scars are real: a skilled surgeon keeps them minimal, with incisions in discreet areas such as under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. Ask to see typical healed results.
Klerksdorp began in 1837 or 1838, when Voortrekkers settled on the banks of the Schoonspruit, the 'Clear stream' that still flows through the town. The Oudorp hiking trail winds through the oldest parts of town, and Goudkoppie, or Gold Hill, is the newest tourist attraction in town. Many women who live near these places like to walk in the evenings, so it helps to decide in advance what your walking routine will look like after surgery.
In the first week, keep to short, slow walks near your own home or garden. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks. The full Oudorp trail is a long outing, so leave it until your surgeon agrees. When you do return to it, wear your supportive underwear, carry water and turn back if you feel pulling or pain.
The Schoonspruit and the old streets also make a good reminder of how the town grew from a smallholding settlement into a trading centre. Think of your recovery the same way: steady and unhurried steps carry you further than a rush.
Matlosana Mall is the largest shopping centre in the North West Province, with 145 stores, among them Woolworths, Edgars, Foschini and Sportsman's Warehouse. For a woman in Klerksdorp this is a convenient place to prepare before the operation, because everything you need can be gathered in one visit.
Before surgery, buy loose, soft tops that open at the front, so you never need to lift your arms above shoulder height. That restriction lasts 3 weeks. Choose supportive underwear too, since supportive underwear helps maintain the result. Ask the surgeon what type of garment is suitable before you buy anything, because compression garments are worn for 4–6 weeks.
Do the shopping and the heavy carrying before the operation, or ask a relative to do it afterwards. No heavy exertion means no lifting of more than 3 kg, which is easily exceeded by a bag of groceries or a full shopping trolley handle pushed uphill. Mall visits are best left until you can walk comfortably, and a seat in a restaurant is a gentle first outing.
Klerksdorp is served by a major freeway toward Kimberley and Johannesburg, as well as provincial and regional roads. Local media have reported widespread pothole damage on several primary and secondary routes as of 2025, and drivers often swerve to avoid damaged sections. For a patient in recovery this matters in a practical way.
Jolting and sudden steering movements can be uncomfortable when you are swollen and tender, and turning the wheel quickly means reaching with your arms. Do not drive yourself home from the hospital. Ask a family member to drive slowly, and keep the seat belt comfortable with a small soft pad if your surgeon allows it. Ask the surgeon when you can drive again; do not decide this on your own.
Because roads are a daily concern, the online format is a real advantage. The consultation, the questions and the follow-up contact with your surgeon take place by message and video, so you do not have to drive anywhere for them. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months are part of your recovery programme.
The Klerksdorp district, with Orkney, Stilfontein and Hartbeesfontein, is known as the KOSH area. Gold mining has shaped it since the 1885 discovery, and since 1932 large mining companies have revived the industry. Agriculture also matters, with maize, sorghum, groundnuts and sunflower, and the Senwes co-op.
Many women in the area work shifts, in offices linked to mining, in farm administration, in shops or in clinics. Shift work makes recovery planning more important. You may return to work after 7–14 days with no physical exertion, so tell your employer early which duties you cannot do. If your job involves lifting more than 3 kg, you will need adjusted duties or additional leave.
Women in farming families should also think about the farm calendar. Harvest and planting seasons bring long days and heavy tasks. Choose a period when someone else can take over lifting, feeding and driving, and do not return to lifting before your surgeon allows it.
Klerksdorp has four private hospitals, as well as the public Klerksdorp Tshepong Hospital Complex, and it serves patients from across the district. Life Anncron Hospital, for example, has five theatres and a 16-bed maternity unit. Having good hospitals nearby is reassuring for any patient, and it helps with general health checks before and after your operation.
Your breast augmentation, however, is planned with the surgeon of City Medical Centre in an online consultation, which is free. Bring your local test results and the history of your pregnancies and operations to the conversation, so the surgeon sees the whole picture. A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required before surgery.
After the operation you have a recovery programme and follow-up support for 12 months. If you notice something that worries you, write to the coordinator at any hour, since they work 24/7 and monitoring by medical staff is continuous during your hospital stay. For severe pain, inform your doctor right away.
After surgery you get a recovery programme. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months help track your recovery. For a year after surgery, consultations with your surgeon are free, and follow-up support lasts 12 months. This matters for patients in Klerksdorp, because the contact continues online, wherever you are.
In 3 months any inflammatory changes in the tissue disappear, and a pocket forms around the implant. Results after mammoplasty last a long while: about 10–15 years for augmentation, until implant replacement. To maintain the result, choose supportive underwear and control your weight.
Yes. Write to a coordinator on Telegram or Telegram at any time, 24/7. The online consultation with a surgeon is free, and a coordinator will call you back 24/7.
General anaesthesia is used, so there is no sensation during the operation. The stay is 1 day or 1–2 days, with 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
In the first 1–3 days you may feel moderate discomfort, which painkillers relieve. Pain subsides significantly by day 5–7 and discomfort is gone by weeks 2–3. If pain becomes severe, tell your doctor right away.
After 7–14 days, with no physical exertion. For physical jobs, discuss a longer break with your surgeon.
Light walks after 1–2 weeks, fitness and swimming after 4–6 weeks, light cardio after a month, strength training after 3 months. Avoid intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics for 40 days.
Compression garments stay on for 4–6 weeks. In Klerksdorp summers choose breathable layers over them.
Yes, but a skilled surgeon keeps them minimal, placing incisions under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. They are reddish early on and fade over 6–12 months.
In the first weeks, yes, because of swelling and uneven healing. If shape or size still differ after 3–6 months, see your surgeon.
It may go down or up for a time. In most cases it is restored within 3–12 months. If nothing has improved after a year, consult your surgeon.
About 10–15 years for augmentation, until implant replacement. Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect the duration.
Not at first. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks, and long hikes should wait until your surgeon agrees. Avoid intense gym workouts for 40 days.
They can. Reported potholes mean jolts and sudden steering, so do not drive yourself home after surgery, and ask your surgeon when you may drive again.
You may go back to work after 7–14 days with no physical exertion. If your job involves lifting more than 3 kg, plan adjusted duties or longer leave.
Loose, soft tops that open at the front and supportive underwear, after checking with the surgeon. Arms must not go above shoulder height for 3 weeks.
