How it works
An agreed correction plan, inpatient observation and recovery monitoring for a year.
1The surgeon looks at your figure, talks through your wishes and picks the best volume, shape and correction method.
2A surgery date is booked in your name: pay the deposit by card at the clinic or by online bank transfer. The terms are recorded in the contract for medical services
3Ahead of surgery you go through full testing — blood tests, an ECG and other examinations as prescribed by the doctor.
4Your surgeon carries out the mammoplasty following your personal plan, under general anesthesia and with constant monitoring of your condition.
5Following surgery, you recover in a comfortable inpatient ward of the clinic with the medical team looking after you until discharge.
6After surgery you get a recovery programme. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months help track your recovery. For a year after surgery, consultations with your surgeon are free.

Ahead of surgery, pause any aspirin-containing medicines, steroids and hormonal drugs taken for chronic conditions
Hormonal contraceptive pills need to be stopped a minimum of a month before the procedure
Have your tests done a week before surgery
Prepare for surgery with a few simple steps: a healthy balance of work and rest, more sleep, no stress, anxiety or strong emotions, and reduced physical activity.
Hold off on intense workouts in the gym for up to 40 days and on overly active aerobics; light cardio can be possible after a month. Watch your diet and meals.
Swelling after surgery goes away after 3 weeks
Discomfort disappears after 3 months
Scars develop within 3 weeks
Avoid exertion (lifting over 3 kg)
During 3 months all tissue inflammation subsides and a “pocket” forms around the implant
After the correction, recovery involves 1–1.5 months of compression garments
Do not raise arms above shoulder level for 3 weeks
Stay away from baths and saunas for up to three months; no physiotherapy

FAQ
Under mammoplasty come several procedures: augmentation (increasing volume using implants), reduction (excess tissue and skin removal), mastopexy (lifting for sagging), reconstruction (after mastectomy) and correcting asymmetry. The surgeon's advice and your wishes guide an individual choice of the best method.
Message us — our coordinator will get back to you shortly and book your consultation. The plastic surgeon consultation is free.
Following all recommendations makes complications rare. Still, they may involve hematoma or seroma, infection of the wound, decreased or increased nipple sensitivity, capsular contracture, aesthetic asymmetry, wound separation and tissue necrosis.
Mammoplasty results last a long time: about 10–15 years after augmentation (until implant replacement) and 5–10 years after a lift or reduction. Weight, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect how long it lasts. To maintain the result, wear supportive underwear and control your weight.
Breastfeeding after mammoplasty is determined by the type of surgery. Augmentation through an under-breast or armpit incision, with the implant under the muscle, usually preserves lactation, since the glandular tissue is left undamaged. The risk is higher after a lift or reduction because ducts may be cut. Talk to your surgeon about it in advance.
Implant choice is based on material (silicone gives the most natural appearance, saline is used more rarely), shape (round or anatomical teardrop), surface (smooth or textured), size and profile. Your surgeon will pick the best one for your anatomy and goals.
The surgery is carried out under general anesthesia, and the patient feels nothing. Moderate discomfort is possible during the first 1–3 days and is relieved by pain medication. Pain falls significantly by day 5–7, and by weeks 2–3 discomfort is over. If you have severe pain, tell your doctor at once.
A return to work (no physical exertion) is possible after 7–14 days. Easy walks from 1–2 weeks. Fitness and swimming from 4–6 weeks; strength training from 3 months. Pool and sea from 4–6 weeks. Compression garments for 4–6 weeks. Precise timing depends on your individual recovery.
Scientific evidence does not show that mammoplasty increases breast cancer risk. Implants do not lead to cancer. After surgery, stay on top of regular screening through self-exams, mammography and ultrasound. Always let the examining doctor know you have implants.
A C-section does not rule out mammoplasty, but full recovery of the body must come first. Wait 6–12 months or more after giving birth and after you stop breastfeeding. Before surgery, you must have a surgeon's consultation and check-up.
Scars do remain after mammoplasty, but a skilled surgeon keeps them to a minimum. Incisions are placed in hidden zones: beneath the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. The scars are reddish for the first months and fade within 6–12 months to become almost invisible.
Slight asymmetry in the first weeks after surgery is normal: it is caused by swelling and uneven healing. If a difference in shape or size persists after 3–6 months, see your surgeon for an examination to find the cause.
After mammoplasty, nipple and breast sensitivity may change temporarily — decrease or increase. The cause is irritation of nerve endings. In most cases sensitivity returns within 3–12 months. If there is no improvement after a year, see your surgeon.
Hormonal medicines (contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy) do not directly affect implants but may trigger swelling or changes in breast tissue volume, which temporarily affects appearance. You must tell your surgeon about such drugs before the operation.
Prices are in US dollars; the amount in brackets is an approximate conversion to KES at the rate of 02.10.2026. The final price is fixed in your contract.
Prices start from $4,700 (≈ KES 610,000). The surgeon sets the final price at the free consultation, and it is fixed in the contract, with no hidden extras.

Breast augmentation is a mammoplasty in which implants add volume and correct the shape of the breasts. For patients from Eldoret, the surgeon helps choose the implant material, shape, surface, size and profile to match individual anatomy. Silicone implants give the most natural look, and both round and anatomical teardrop shapes are available. The procedure suits women who want fuller breasts or a better contour.
Step one is a meeting with the plastic surgeon to choose size, shape and profile. Step two is a full medical check-up with lab tests, instrumental examinations and, if indicated, a GP, gynecologist or breast specialist. On the day itself, the surgeon marks incisions, places the implant and closes the wound in layers with self-absorbing cosmetic sutures. This is how augmentation goes for Eldoret patients.
How much is breast augmentation in Eldoret? From $4,700 (≈ KES 610,000) for the complete package. That sum includes the surgery, anesthesia, inpatient care with meals, round-the-clock monitoring by staff and a full year of post-op follow-up until the final result. To start, send your name and phone number or write in a messenger; a coordinator will contact you and book a free consultation.

I went to Dmitry Sergeyevich for breast augmentation with implants. At the consultation everything was explained in detail, and together we chose the best size. The operation under combined anaesthesia took 2 hours, and I was discharged home the next day. The swelling went down in about a month, and my breasts look very natural. The year of follow-up care is a real lifesaver: you can always ask a question and get an answer. Thank you to the clinic!

Eldoret is a city in the Rift Valley region of western Kenya and the capital of Uasin Gishu County. According to the 2019 population census it has 475,716 people, which makes it the fifth most populated urban area in the country after Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru and Ruiru. A long-standing municipality, it was conferred city status on 15 August 2024. Its residents include students, athletes, farmers, traders, factory staff, office workers and health professionals, so the questions about breast augmentation are practical and varied.
Women in Eldoret usually ask the same things before anything else: how long will I be away from work, can I keep up my training, what happens to my daily routine while I wear a compression garment, and how do I plan this around family obligations. This text answers those questions with Eldoret in mind and explains how City Medical Centre organises a free online consultation for patients who live in the city.
Breast augmentation is a surgical decision, and a calm, well-informed start matters more than speed. You can ask your questions at your own pace, compare your expectations with what is realistic, and only then decide on a date that suits your life in the city.
The first step is a free online consultation. You write to the coordinators on Telegram or Telegram from Eldoret, and they are available around the clock, 24/7. Our team works 24/7, booking is easy, and the personal approach adapts to your pace. If you write late in the evening after work or early in the morning before classes, you do not have to wait for an office to open, and a coordinator will call you back 24/7.
Before the conversation with the surgeon it helps to prepare a short summary: your age, general health, previous operations, any pregnancies and breastfeeding, medicines you take, and what you want to change about the shape and size of your breasts. Photographs sent in a private chat help the surgeon judge your starting point. Keep your questions in a list so that nothing is forgotten during the call.
In the consultation the surgeon explains which approach suits your anatomy, what the implant and the incision placement mean for you, and what the recovery programme looks like. You decide at home, in Eldoret, without pressure. Nothing is signed during the first conversation, and you can come back with further questions as often as you need.
Eldoret has a subtropical highland climate. The town lies over 2,000 metres above sea level and the weather is moderate to cool. Nights are noticeably colder, and in the cold season from May to August temperatures are regularly in the single digits Celsius. The warm season is the driest and the cool season is the wettest.
For recovery this has practical consequences. In the cool, wet months you will probably wear layers, and it is worth choosing soft, loose tops that fit comfortably over a compression garment and do not press on the chest. Damp, cold mornings mean you will want to reach for jackets, so practise putting them on without lifting your arms above shoulder height, which is not allowed for 3 weeks after surgery.
In the dry warm season, the strong sun of a high-altitude city matters for healing scars. Early on the scars are reddish, and over 6–12 months they fade and become almost unnoticeable. Keep fresh scars covered from direct sun and ask your surgeon what skin care is suitable. Dust on dry days is another reason to keep the garment and the skin clean and to follow your surgeon's hygiene instructions.
Because the nights are cold, avoid sudden chilling and heavy exertion, and keep your home comfortably warm during the first days. Comfort helps you rest, and rest helps swelling settle.
There is no single correct month, but the local weather can help you plan. The cool, wet season, with its colder nights from May to August, suits patients who want to stay indoors and rest without feeling that they are missing outdoor life. A garment worn for 4–6 weeks is also less tiring in cooler weather than in the heat.
The warm, dry season is more convenient for short walks, which you can start after 1–2 weeks, but it needs more care with sun and dust on healing skin. Think about which season gives you the calmer period at work or at university, and which allows you to avoid big events in the first weeks.
Eldoret has a busy sporting calendar. The Eldoret leg of the Kenya National Sevens rugby circuit, the Sepetuka Sevens, is played in June, and the city also hosts the Eldoret City Marathon. If you enjoy attending these events or work around them, plan your operation so that you are not tempted to stand in crowds or take part in anything physical during the early weeks. The surgeon can help you choose a date after reviewing your own calendar.
Eldoret is a trading and manufacturing centre surrounded by farmland. Many residents work in offices, shops, factories, schools, financial institutions and health services, and the city hosts the largest university student population outside the capital. Each of these lifestyles asks something different of recovery.
After breast augmentation you may go back to work after 7–14 days, provided there is no physical exertion. For an office worker or a lecturer this often means returning in the second week. If your job involves lifting, long hours on your feet, or work with machinery or goods, speak to your surgeon about the right timing and about lighter duties at first. Heavy exertion, meaning lifting more than 3 kg, is not allowed.
Students can plan the operation around lectures and exams. Take notes and rest in the first days, since moderate discomfort in the first 1–3 days is normal and is relieved by painkillers. Light walks are possible after 1–2 weeks, which is enough for getting to class on foot, but carrying a heavy bag is not a good idea. A light backpack or help from a friend makes this easier.
Tell your employer or family only as much as you wish. A short absence for a medical procedure is a private matter, and your coordinator can help you plan the time away.
Eldoret is known as a home and training ground of Kenyan distance runners, and the high altitude attracts middle and long-distance athletes. Even if you are not a professional, many women in the city jog, walk in the morning or attend fitness classes, so questions about returning to sport are common.
Follow the rules your surgeon gives you. For as long as 40 days, stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics. Light cardio is possible after a month. Fitness and swimming come after 4–6 weeks, and strength training is allowed after 3 months. Timing depends on your recovery, so do not compare yourself with a friend who recovered faster.
Running puts repeated movement on the chest, so return to it step by step and only with your surgeon's approval. A supportive sports bra recommended by your surgeon is part of a safe return. Be especially careful with arm movements above shoulder height during the first 3 weeks.
If you coach or train others, tell them honestly that you need to step back for a while. Rest now is an investment in a comfortable return later.
Eldoret sits in an area of large-scale grain, dairy and horticultural farming, so fresh local produce is easy to find, and dairy products are part of the city's identity. A balanced diet supports healing and helps you keep a stable weight. Your surgeon asks you to monitor your diet and meals, and that is easy to do with simple home cooking while you are resting.
Family gatherings, weddings and shared meals are an important part of life in Kenya. In the first weeks plan to attend only short, calm events, and avoid cooking for large groups or carrying heavy pots and trays, because lifting more than 3 kg is not allowed. Ask relatives to take over the lifting and serving, and prepare simple meals in advance if you can.
Choose clothes that are easy to put on, such as shirts that open at the front. If you are a mother, arrange help with young children, since lifting a child counts as heavy exertion. Honest planning with your household before the operation prevents stress afterwards.
Swelling after surgery goes away after 3 weeks, and discomfort fades after 3 months. Until then, patience with yourself and a calm schedule make the weeks easier.
Breast augmentation is performed under general anaesthesia, so you feel nothing during the surgery. The stay is 1 day or 1–2 days, depending on the plan agreed with your surgeon. During this time you are under 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
In the first 1–3 days you may feel moderate discomfort, which painkillers relieve. Pain subsides significantly by day 5–7, and discomfort is gone by weeks 2–3. If the pain becomes severe, tell your doctor right away. Do not wait or try to manage it alone.
After surgery you get a recovery programme. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months help track your recovery. For a year after surgery, consultations with your surgeon are free, and follow-up support lasts for 12 months. From Eldoret you can continue these conversations online through Telegram or Telegram.
In 3 months any inflammatory changes in the tissue disappear, and a pocket forms around the implant. This is the period when the shape settles, so judge the result patiently.
The name Eldoret comes from the Maasai word eldore, meaning stony river, a reference to the bed of the Sosiani River, which runs through the town. In the early colonial period the settlement was known as Farm 64, and locals called it Sisibo. A post office opened there in 1910, and in 1912 the area became an administrative centre with a bank and shops, after which the name Eldoret was adopted. A town that began as a numbered farm and grew into a city on 15 August 2024 is used to planning step by step, and that is a sensible way to approach an operation as well.
Think of your own plan in the same way. Start with a free online chat, then a list of questions, then a date. The river that gave the city its name also supplied its piped water from 1928, and plenty of clean water at home is a practical comfort in the first days. Keep the wound area clean and dry as your surgeon instructs, and ask the surgeon how to wash while the dressings are in place.
Many Eldoret families have lived through the town's growth, from the railway that reached it in 1924 to the present city. If an older relative asks why you are choosing surgery, explain it calmly, and then keep the decision in your own hands.
Eldoret is divided into thirteen wards and has many estates, among them Elgon View, Langas, Kapseret, Huruma, Kapsoya, Kimumu, Pioneer, Outspan, Hillside and Eldoville. Some are considered upmarket and others are home to the middle class, and each has its own character. Whichever one you live in, the first weeks after breast augmentation are mostly spent at home, so look at your estate with a recovery eye: Is there someone nearby who can help with shopping, school runs or a short errand?
Neighbours in an estate often know each other well. Agree in advance who will carry water, shopping bags and laundry baskets, because lifting more than 3 kg is not allowed. If you live in a house with stairs or a compound with a gate and a walk to the road, plan so that you do not have to carry anything heavy during the early weeks.
Elgon View is known as a training ground of runners, so you may well see athletes passing on morning runs. Enjoy the view from your window or doorstep, and take only the light walks that your surgeon allows after 1–2 weeks.
Eldoret hosts the largest university student population outside the capital. Moi University, established in 1984, has four campuses within the town, including the Town Campus with the School of Medicine, the Annex Campus with the School of Law and the Rivatex Campus. The University of Eldoret received its charter in 2013, and Kabarak, Mount Kenya, Kisii and several other universities also have a presence in the town.
For a student or a young lecturer, the best moment for the operation is usually just after exams or at the start of a break. Back to work or study is possible after 7–14 days without physical exertion, so a plan that places the first two weeks in a quiet period works well. Avoid carrying a heavy bag of books, and ask a classmate to share notes if you miss a few lectures.
Young women often ask how to keep this private on a busy campus. Loose tops over the compression garment, which is worn for 4–6 weeks, are normal clothing, and nobody needs to be told. If you are a student in the medical or dental schools, you will understand the value of check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months, so keep them in your calendar like exam dates.
Eldoret has a strong manufacturing and services base. Ken Knit, the integrated textile company, has been in the city for close to 50 years and employs about 2,000 people. Rivatex was reopened in 2019, and the city also hosts a Safaricom call centre with 800 employees, the Kenya Pipeline Company and Kenya Co-operative Creameries. The town also has over 40 bank branches.
These jobs ask different things of a recovering body. In a call centre or bank, you sit and use a screen, and a return after 7–14 days without physical exertion is often realistic. On a factory floor or in a textile mill, standing for long hours, repetitive arm movements and lifting are common, and arms must not go above shoulder height for 3 weeks. Show your surgeon a description of your tasks and ask whether lighter duties, a later start or more leave is better.
If you are self-employed in the market or run a small shop, plan who will unload stock and carry goods. A few extra days of rest cost less than rushing and having to see the surgeon for an unplanned check.
Eldoret is the second largest medical destination in Kenya after Nairobi. The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital is the second largest national referral hospital, and the city also has the Shoe4Africa Children's Hospital and a number of private institutions. This gives residents a good sense of what medicine involves, and many patients already know a nurse, a pharmacist or a doctor personally.
Even so, a specialised opinion on aesthetic breast surgery is a separate matter. A free online consultation with City Medical Centre lets you ask the surgeon about implant choice, incision placement and the recovery programme from your own living room, with coordinators on Telegram and Telegram around the clock. If a local doctor, nurse or pharmacist has advised you on painkillers or wound care, share that with your coordinator so that nothing contradicts your surgeon's plan.
After the operation, check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months and free consultations for a year keep you supported, and if a local health professional sees you, they can pass questions to your surgeon directly.
Good candidates are generally adult women in good health who want to increase breast volume or improve shape and who have realistic expectations. Contraindications are decided individually by the surgeon, and your health history, current illnesses, medicines and plans for pregnancy all matter. Be completely open in the consultation.
Useful questions to ask: Which implant and incision placement suit my body? Where will the scars be? How long will I wear the compression garment? When can I return to my work, my training and my usual household tasks? What should I do if something worries me after I return home? Who will answer my messages and when?
Weight also plays a role. Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect how long a result lasts. Maintaining a stable, healthy weight is part of keeping the outcome, and the global health guidance on overweight is a reasonable reference for general lifestyle planning.
Mammoplasty after a C-section is possible, but only once your body has fully recovered. Allow at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding stops. A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required before surgery.
Yes. The first consultation is free and takes place online. You write to the coordinators on Telegram or Telegram, and they are available around the clock, 24/7. A coordinator will call you back 24/7.
You may go back to work, without physical exertion, after 7–14 days. If your job involves lifting or long periods on your feet, discuss lighter duties with your surgeon first, because lifting more than 3 kg is not allowed.
General anaesthesia is used for the surgery itself, so there is no sensation. The stay is 1 day or 1–2 days, with 24/7 monitoring by medical staff.
Compression garments stay on for 4–6 weeks, and timing depends on your recovery. In the cool Eldoret climate the garment is usually comfortable under layers, but choose loose, soft clothes that do not press on the chest.
For as long as 40 days, stay away from intense gym workouts and overly active aerobics. Light cardio is possible after a month. Fitness and swimming are possible after 4–6 weeks, and strength training is allowed after 3 months.
There are scars after mammoplasty, though a skilled surgeon keeps them minimal. Incisions go in discreet areas such as under the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. Early on the scars are reddish, and over 6–12 months they fade and are almost unnoticeable. In Eldoret's sunny dry season, protect fresh scars from direct sun.
In the first weeks slight asymmetry is normal because of swelling and uneven healing. If shape or size still differ after 3–6 months, see your surgeon. Sensitivity of the breast and nipple may change for a time, and in the majority of cases it is restored within 3–12 months. If nothing has improved after a year, consult your surgeon.
Results after augmentation last about 10–15 years, until implant replacement. Weight changes, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity affect their duration. To maintain the result, choose supportive underwear and control your weight.
It is possible, but only once your body has fully recovered. Allow at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding stops. A consultation and check-up with a surgeon are required before surgery.
After surgery you get a recovery programme. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months help track your recovery. For a year after surgery, consultations with your surgeon are free, and follow-up support lasts for 12 months.
The name comes from the Maasai word eldore, meaning stony river, after the Sosiani River bed. It is only background, but the town's history of careful step-by-step growth is a good model for planning an operation calmly.
Choose a quiet period such as a break after exams. You can return to study or work after 7–14 days without physical exertion, avoid carrying heavy bags, and keep light walks for after 1–2 weeks.
Tell your surgeon exactly what your tasks are. Lifting more than 3 kg and raising arms above shoulder height for 3 weeks are not allowed, so lighter duties or more time off may be needed.
Local hospitals serve many needs, but for breast augmentation you can start with a free online consultation with our surgeon, ask every question, and decide calmly. Follow-up consultations for a year are free.
