How it works
A correction plan agreed with you, inpatient observation and a year of follow-up.
1The surgeon examines your figure, discusses your wishes and selects the best volume, shape and correction method.
2We hold a surgery date for you. You can pay the deposit by card at the clinic or online by bank transfer; all terms are set out in the contract for medical services
3Before the operation you take a full set of tests: blood tests, an ECG and any other examinations the doctor prescribes.
4Mammoplasty is performed according to your individual plan. The surgery is done under general anesthesia while your condition is monitored throughout.
5Following surgery, you recover in a comfortable inpatient ward of the clinic with the medical team looking after you until discharge.
6A recovery programme is prescribed after surgery. Check-ups at 7 days, 3 and 6 months follow your recovery, and for a year after surgery you consult your surgeon for free.

Before the operation, discontinue aspirin-containing drugs, steroids and hormonal therapy for chronic conditions
At least one month before the procedure, oral hormonal contraceptives should be stopped
Do your tests a week before the operation
Follow a few simple rules before surgery: balance work and rest sensibly, sleep more, avoid stress, anxiety and strong emotions, and scale back physical activity.
No intense gym sessions for up to 40 days and no overly vigorous aerobics; light cardio is possible after one month. Watch what and how you eat.
Swelling from surgery fades after 3 weeks
After 3 months, discomfort disappears
Scars form in 3 weeks
Avoid exertion (lifting over 3 kg)
By 3 months, inflammatory changes in the tissue have resolved and a “pocket” has formed around the implant
After the correction, recovery involves 1–1.5 months of compression garments
Do not raise arms above shoulder level for 3 weeks
No baths or saunas for up to three months, and no physiotherapy

FAQ
Mammoplasty includes several procedures: augmentation (adding volume with implants), reduction (removing excess tissue and skin), mastopexy (lifting sagging breasts), reconstruction (after mastectomy) and asymmetry correction. The optimal method is selected individually, based on your wishes and the surgeon's recommendation.
Message us — our coordinator will get back to you shortly and book your consultation. The plastic surgeon consultation is free.
Complications are infrequent provided all recommendations are followed. They may include hematoma or seroma, infection of the wound, changes in nipple sensitivity (lower or higher), capsular contracture, aesthetic asymmetry, wound separation and tissue necrosis.
You can expect a long-lasting mammoplasty result: about 10–15 years after augmentation (until the implants are replaced) and 5–10 years after a lift or reduction. How long it lasts is affected by weight, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity. Wear supportive underwear and control your weight to keep it.
Your ability to breastfeed after mammoplasty depends on the surgery type. For augmentation using an under-breast or armpit incision and an implant placed under the muscle, lactation is usually preserved: the glandular tissue is not damaged. A lift or reduction raises the risk, as ducts may be cut. Discuss this with your surgeon ahead of time.
Implant selection considers material (silicone gives the most natural look; saline is less common), shape (round or anatomical teardrop), surface (smooth or textured), size and profile. The surgeon picks the best fit for your anatomy and wishes.
Surgery takes place under general anesthesia, and the patient feels no pain. Moderate discomfort is possible in the first 1–3 days and is managed with painkillers. Pain eases considerably by day 5–7 and discomfort disappears by weeks 2–3. Tell your doctor immediately if pain is severe.
A return to work (no physical exertion) is possible after 7–14 days. Easy walks from 1–2 weeks. Fitness and swimming from 4–6 weeks; strength training from 3 months. Pool and sea from 4–6 weeks. Compression garments for 4–6 weeks. Precise timing depends on your individual recovery.
There is no scientific proof linking mammoplasty to a higher breast cancer risk. Implants do not cause cancer. Continue regular screening after surgery, including self-exams, mammography and ultrasound, and always inform the examining doctor about your implants.
Mammoplasty after a C-section is possible, but your body must fully recover first. Wait at least 6–12 months after giving birth and after breastfeeding ends. A surgeon's consultation and check-up are required before surgery.
Scars do remain after mammoplasty, but a skilled surgeon keeps them to a minimum. Incisions are placed in hidden zones: beneath the breast, around the areola or in the armpit. The scars are reddish for the first months and fade within 6–12 months to become almost invisible.
Mild asymmetry soon after surgery is normal during the first weeks and is caused by swelling and uneven healing. If shape or size remains different after 3–6 months, your surgeon should examine you to establish the cause.
Sensitivity in the nipples and breasts may shift temporarily after mammoplasty, decreasing or increasing, because the nerve endings are irritated. It returns within 3–12 months in most cases. If it has not improved after a year, go see your surgeon.
There is no direct effect of hormonal drugs (contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy) on implants, but swelling or changes in breast tissue volume may occur and temporarily affect appearance. Let your surgeon know about these medications before surgery.

Enlargement with implants corrects both size and shape. It is aimed at patients who feel their breasts are too small, have lost volume or look asymmetrical. People searching for this surgery in Damietta should know that results typically last about 10 to 15 years, until the implants are replaced; weight, pregnancy, skin aging and gravity all influence how long they hold.
Before the operation, a healthy balance of work and rest helps: sleep more, avoid stress and reduce physical activity for 1–2 months. Afterwards, avoid lifting over 3 kg and intense gym workouts for about 40 days; light cardio becomes possible after a month. Within three months the tissue settles and a pocket forms around the implant. Clear guidance is given to every Damietta patient.
What do you pay for? From $4,700 (≈ EGP 250,000) covers the operation itself and everything around it: preparation with the surgeon, anesthesia, one day in an inpatient room with meals and 24/7 supervision, then twelve months of dressings, check-ups and surgeon follow-up. Consultations with the plastic surgeon are free. Anyone from Damietta can apply via the form or any messenger to arrange one.

I went to Dmitry Sergeyevich for breast augmentation with implants. At the consultation everything was explained in detail, and together we chose the best size. The operation under combined anaesthesia took 2 hours, and I was discharged home the next day. The swelling went down in about a month, and my breasts look very natural. The year of follow-up care is a real lifesaver: you can always ask a question and get an answer. Thank you to the clinic!

After two births I decided on a breast lift without implants. I chose Dmitry Sergeyevich and have no regrets. The result exceeded all my expectations: my breasts are lifted and the shape is youthful and firm. The incisions are minimal and almost invisible. I spent one day in the hospital, and the room was very comfortable. I recommend him!

Damietta counted about 305,920 residents in 2024, with the wider urban area reaching roughly 1.1 million, and a city of that size has no shortage of women quietly weighing a breast augmentation. Most of them begin the same way: late in the evening, phone in hand, wondering how to word the question. The coordinators at City Medical Centre answer on Telegram and Telegram around the clock, so the wording does not have to be polished. Two or three plain sentences about what you want to change are enough to open the file.
A good opening message carries four facts and nothing else: your age, any pregnancies or breastfeeding, medicines you take every day, and the single thing about your chest that you would like different. Skip the long life story. The surgeon reads a short, accurate note faster than a dramatic one, and the reply you receive will be more specific because of it. If you have had breast surgery before, say so at once, since it changes the whole plan.
Photographs follow: one from the front and one from each side, taken near a window in ordinary daylight, arms relaxed, no filter and no flattering angle. From these the surgeon reads symmetry, the height of the lower fold, skin quality and the width of your frame. The answer arrives in writing, which matters more than it sounds, because you can reread it on a quiet Friday morning instead of trying to remember what was said over a hurried call.
Nothing in this first exchange commits you to a date or a decision. The assessment is simply a document: it may recommend augmentation alone, suggest a lift as well, or explain that the result you picture is not achievable with your anatomy. Keep every reply in one folder on your phone. When you later compare the written advice with what your family says, you will be comparing against facts rather than half-remembered impressions.
In 1872 Damietta counted 166 silk workshops turning out around twenty thousand pieces a year, and that heritage of exact handwork is a fair mirror for how an implant is chosen. The decision is not about a single size number. It combines the width of the base, the projection, the height and the shape, all matched against the width of your ribcage and the thickness of the tissue the surgeon has to work with. A measuring tape and a few minutes at home give you the first useful figures.
Round implants fill the upper part of the breast more; anatomical ones taper from below and aim for a sloping, natural outline. Neither is better in general. Ask the surgeon to write down why one suits you, and to name the alternative he or she rejected. If an answer comes back as a bare brand or volume without reasoning about your own chest, ask again. A recommendation you cannot explain to your sister is not yet a recommendation you understand.
Placement is a separate question. The implant can sit behind the gland or behind the chest muscle, and the choice shifts the look, the way the muscle moves, and the first weeks of recovery. Women who lift weights or train hard deserve a specific conversation about this, and so do those with very little natural tissue. Do not rely on a friend's account; her tissue is not yours, and the same implant can behave quite differently on two bodies.
Breasts are never perfect twins, much as the Damietta branch of the Nile has two banks that never match. Point out any difference you see now: size, fold height, nipple position. The surgeon may even propose two slightly different implants to balance things. Finally, ask for the implant card with the type, size and batch number, much as port cargo carries a record. You will need it for future breast imaging, and it should go in the same folder as your written replies.
Damietta is gentler than inland Iraq or upper Egypt. Average July and August highs sit near 30.5 degrees Celsius, while January and February highs are about 18.1 and 18.8, with lows around 8 or 9. Rain totals only about 112 millimetres a year, mostly in December and January, and June through September is dry. For recovery, that means humidity and sea air matter more than heat: the compression garment stays on for weeks and should be cotton-soft against the skin.
Buy at least two or three garments so one can dry while another is worn, and change the layer underneath whenever it feels damp. Coastal humidity makes a worn-through garment clammy quickly, and skin that stays wet under pressure invites irritation around the scars. If redness spreads or an itch intensifies, photograph the area in the same light as your earlier pictures and send it to the coordinator rather than waiting to see whether it settles.
The sea is the obvious temptation. Fitness training, swimming, pool and sea are all possible after roughly four to six weeks, and the compression garment is worn for the same four to six weeks. Even then, ask the surgeon before the first swim. Open water is not sterile, new scars burn easily in strong light, and a healing incision deserves shade and a high-quality sun product chosen with the surgeon's agreement, not picked up on impulse at a shop near the beach.
Because winters are mild, there is no seasonal reason to rush or delay. Pick a date around the rhythm of your household rather than the weather: a week when children are settled, relatives can help with heavy things, and your job has no deadline. A calm calendar is worth more than a perfect month, since the third week brings the lifting limit and the shoulder-height rule, and those are easier to respect when nothing else is demanding your arms.
Surgery is done under general anesthesia, and the anesthesiologist handles that part. After the operation you remain in hospital for one day. During that time the team checks the dressings and vital signs, treats pain and walks you through the first week in writing. Tell your household the date a week ahead and agree who stays with you the first night. People who know their role in advance rarely panic when the day arrives.
Before the date the surgeon will give fasting instructions and ask about every pill, supplement and herbal drink in your routine. Do not edit this list for politeness. Mention the headache tablets, the sleeping aid, the herbal tea after meals and any smoking. No one is judging you; the information decides which anesthetic approach and which medicines are safe. Write the list in your phone and send it to the coordinator before the appointment.
Pack for one long day, not a long absence: a front-buttoned shirt that goes on without lifting your arms, a soft supportive bra recommended by the team, your documents and a charger. Raising the arms above shoulder level is off limits for the first weeks, so rearrange your shelves at home before you leave, putting plates, cosmetics and the hairbrush between waist and shoulder height. A little rehearsal prevents painful reflexes later.
Return to work without physical exertion is usually possible after seven to fourteen days. After about three weeks the early swelling goes down and the scars form, though lifting anything over three kilograms and raising the arms above the shoulders remain off limits. At one month the swelling subsides and the breasts take on a natural shape and softness. By three months discomfort is gone, inflammatory changes have resolved and a pocket has formed around the implant, which is when strength training becomes possible.
The Egyptian Medical Syndicate is the body that helps the Ministry of Health license doctors. It began in January 1920 as the Egyptian Medical Society, became a syndicate in 1926, and now lists over 230,000 physicians. Ask any surgeon you are considering for his or her registration number and specialty documents. We could not find a public page where a patient can look up a registration independently, so requesting the papers directly, through the coordinator, remains the practical route.
A licence is a starting point. Also ask what training the surgeon has in cosmetic and reconstructive work, how many augmentations he or she performs, and how complications such as a blood collection, an infection or uneven results are handled. A surgeon who speaks calmly about what can go wrong and what is done about it is usually more reliable than one who talks only about outcomes. Welcome the question of a second opinion; a confident team will.
Ask the coordinator for the surgeon's written profile before you commit anything, and for before-and-after photographs shared with permission, ideally in the same lighting and from front and side. Pretty pictures that show only one angle tell you very little. If a question is answered with a vague phrase, ask it again, and if it stays vague, treat that as information. Your decision should rest on documents, not on charm.
Egypt's weekly rest days are Friday and Saturday, and Friday in particular is when many households gather. Use that time to go through the replies together and write down what remains unclear. Before the date, your file should hold the surgeon's written advice, the implant details once known, your medication list, the follow-up schedule and the coordinators' contact details, so that anyone at home knows what happens when and whom to contact if something looks wrong.
A short message with your age, any pregnancies or breastfeeding, daily medicines and what you would like to change, plus three daylight photos: one from the front and one from each side. Adding a tape measurement around the chest and just under it helps. The surgeon studies these and replies in writing with an initial view of what suits you and what needs an in-person examination. Nothing here commits you to a date or a decision.
Not by one number. The surgeon looks at the width of your ribcage, the thickness of the tissue and the elasticity of the skin, then proposes a range of sizes and shapes. Many women test the volume at home with a padded bra or soft cloth before deciding. Compare the range with a photo you like, and speak up if it looks too large; going smaller before surgery is far easier than changing course afterwards.
The operation takes place under general anesthesia, and you stay one day in hospital afterwards. The team checks the dressings and vital signs, manages the pain of the first night and gives written aftercare instructions before you leave. It helps to bring a relative who can hear the instructions with you and help with your bag, since the anesthetic may leave you tired.
Work without physical exertion is usually possible after seven to fourteen days. Desk jobs tend to sit near the earlier end, standing or carrying jobs near the later end, and the surgeon confirms from your photos. Even once you are back at work, the limit on lifting more than three kilograms and on raising your arms above shoulder level remains for about three weeks.
Fresh scars should stay out of direct sun, and the compression garment is worn for four to six weeks, so choose soft cotton underneath and change it when damp. Swimming in a pool or in the sea becomes possible after four to six weeks, with the surgeon's agreement. Ask in a follow-up which sun product suits your skin and when to start using it.
Raise it before surgery, because incision and placement choices can be adjusted to your plans. Tell the surgeon whether you are breastfeeding now or expect to in future. Also tell any doctor who performs breast imaging that you have implants, so the right technique is used and the images are read with that in mind.
Fitness, swimming, pool and sea come back after about four to six weeks, while the compression garment is still worn. Strength training waits until about three months, when discomfort has disappeared and a pocket has formed around the implant. Start gently, stop if you feel pain or one side swells more than the other, and send the coordinator a photo.
Ask for his or her registration number with the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and for the specialty certificates. The syndicate helps the Ministry of Health license doctors, but we found no public page that lets a patient check a registration alone, so the documents themselves, supplied through the coordinator, are the clearest evidence. If someone avoids the question, pause and request a second opinion.
