Instead of implants or foreign substances, regenerative joint treatment uses you as the source: platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your blood and the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) from a small adipose tissue sample. It is injected into the troubled joint to lower pain and inflammation and support the tissues inside.
People with joint pain choose it to avoid surgery or push it back, including those told a joint replacement is the only way. A lasting effect is more likely the earlier the condition is caught; the doctor evaluates this using your scans.

Large and small joints can be treated; the doctor settles the joint, the method and the injection count after checking your scans
Elbow
Sports strain or overuse pain and worn-down joint surfaces
Hand and wrist joints
Stiffness and aching in the finger and wrist joints
Knee
Meniscus trouble, worn cartilage, pain when using stairs or after walking
Hip
Early hip osteoarthritis, groin pain, limited rotation
Ankle
Pain and stiffness after sprains and old injuries
Shoulder
Pain when you raise your arm, worn joint and surrounding tendons

Cell therapy (SVF) from your own adipose tissue
The method starts with a small adipose tissue sample, which is processed to separate the stromal vascular fraction (SVF), a mix of cells active in tissue repair. With your own plasma added, it is injected into the affected joint.
It is usually the choice when changes in the joint are more marked and the aim is a longer-lasting effect.

PRP — platelet-rich plasma from your own blood
The doctor separates plasma rich in platelets and growth factors from a small amount of your blood and injects it into the joint. This helps to calm inflammation and supports tissue repair.
As a course of injections it can be used alone, or it can be added to SVF.

Consultation and scan review
The doctor examines your joint, looks at your X-rays, MRI or ultrasound and decides whether the procedure is right for you. Scans you already have can be sent ahead of the visit.

Blood sample for PRP
A small amount of blood is taken from a vein. Platelet-rich plasma with growth factors is later prepared from it.
The doctor tells you in advance which tests are needed.

Adipose tissue sample
A small portion of adipose tissue (about 30 ml) is taken under local anaesthetic through a puncture on the abdomen or inner thigh. There is no need for stitches.

Processing in a centrifuge
After centrifuging, the sample forms separate layers; the stromal vascular fraction is taken from them and combined with the platelet-rich plasma.
The whole procedure is done in one day.

Injection into the joint
With ultrasound guiding the needle, the prepared material is injected directly and precisely into the affected joint.

Follow-up
No hospital stay and no crutches. After the procedure the doctor keeps in touch and follows how your joint responds.

Follow-up visits
At follow-up visits the doctor sees how the joint is responding and adjusts the plan: pain usually eases in the first month, mobility improves over roughly three months, and the full effect develops over about six months.
Only after an examination and a review of your scans does the doctor decide whether the treatment suits you

Usually you leave the same day and resume ordinary daily activity within a day or two, with small dressings over the puncture sites. The joint may ache slightly more during the first week — an expected reaction. Over the first month pain typically eases; over roughly three months mobility and activity improve; the full effect develops over about six months. Its duration is individual and depends on the stage of the condition, body weight, activity and other factors, so no fixed result can be promised. The doctor advises you personally on exercise and load for the first weeks.
We work on keeping your own joint rather than replacing it — treatment without surgery

Your own tissue
We rely solely on your own blood and adipose tissue, without donor or synthetic material

No crutches
Punctures instead of incisions, local anaesthetic, no long rehabilitation

Second opinion
Send any X-rays, MRI or reports and receive an independent assessment from a doctor for free

Support after the procedure
After the procedure we keep in touch and follow the result, not only the day of the injection
How much it costs depends on the joint, the method and the stage of the condition — the doctor tells you after the consultation

What is the difference between PRP and SVF?
PRP comes from your blood and is plasma rich in platelets; SVF is a cellular fraction from a small sample of your adipose tissue. Each works in its own way, and combining them often gives the joint a stronger regenerative effect.
Is the treatment safe?
Rejection and allergic reactions are very unlikely because the material in both methods is your own tissue. Temporary pain, swelling or bruising are possible, as with any injection, and infection is rare. Your doctor explains the risks for your case at the consultation.
How long does the effect last?
It depends. PRP usually gives an effect lasting from several months to about a year; with SVF it can last longer. Because the stage of the condition and your body affect the duration, no one can promise a fixed result.
Who should not have the procedure?
It is not done during pregnancy, in people with cancer, acute infections or blood clotting disorders, or while a serious chronic illness is flaring up. The consultation is where the doctor checks this.
Does hip osteoarthritis (coxarthrosis) always need surgery, or can it be treated without?
In the early stages, PRP or SVF injections together with exercise therapy and physiotherapy can ease pain and improve movement. If the joint is already severely damaged, a replacement may be the more realistic choice — the doctor will tell you honestly once they have seen your scans.
Can avascular necrosis of the hip be treated?
At an early stage (1–2), SVF therapy may help support the blood supply to the femoral head and delay the need for joint replacement. Surgery is usually required at later stages.
Why try to avoid joint replacement?
Joint replacement involves major surgery and a long rehabilitation, carries risks such as infection, and the implants may eventually have to be redone. With changes that are early or moderate, trying to preserve your own joint first often makes sense.
Can I get a second opinion on my scans?
Yes — send your X-rays, MRI, CT or medical reports, and a doctor will look at them free of charge, then tell you whether the procedure could suit you and what else may be needed.
How soon can I return to normal life?
Most people return within a day or two. There is no long rehabilitation and no need for crutches; the doctor gives advice on load and exercise for the first weeks.
Does the treatment help with shoulder pain?
For the rotator cuff and the shoulder joint, PRP is used; SVF may be considered in more advanced shoulder arthritis. Whether this is right for you depends on the cause of the pain, which the doctor determines first.
SVF and PRP work in different ways. PRP helps calm inflammation and creates better conditions for repair; SVF contains cells involved in tissue repair and is chosen when changes are more pronounced. For patients from Philadelphia, the doctor often combines the two.
Follow-up visits help the doctor see how the joint responds and adjust the plan. In Philadelphia, you receive recommendations on load and exercise for the first weeks, and the doctor stays in touch after the procedure.
To get started, send your scans or book a visit. Patients from Philadelphia receive a free review, a clear answer on whether treatment is suitable, and the price for their case.
