Only the area being treated varies. The donor grafts come from the back of the head and the method remains FUE.
FUE method, no incisions or stitches

Grafts are taken from the donor area at the back of the head and moved through micro-punctures of about 1 mm, so no scars are left. The doctor agrees the shape with you before the operation, taking your facial features into account. Transplanted hair grows for life: trim and style the beard as usual.

The surgeon draws the eyebrow shape at the initial consultation: you look through references together and the design takes your facial features into account. The hairs are implanted at the right angle, so the eyebrows look natural. It also helps where hairs have stopped growing after years of plucking.

Process
From consultation to going home — all in one day
The first step is a free, no-obligation consultation where the doctor explains how FUE and DHI work, answers whatever you ask, and creates a plan tailored to your case.
The day of surgery becomes yours once a deposit has been placed, either by card at the reception desk or through an online payment.
Before the transplant, the clinic issues a list of necessary tests along with instructions, so preparation goes smoothly.
Patients in Khoms are given a local anaesthetic, so the surgery brings no pain.
The donor zone at the back of the head or the temples supplies the grafts, taken without any stitching required.
The implantation stage places the grafts into the area of hair loss, handled by the surgeons.
The final step is recovery, backed by the clinic's supplies and full instructions for fast healing.
Crusts thin out and vanish, swelling flattens, the skin repairs
Only the visible part goes. The root stays in place
New hairs fill in gradually, the result shows
Thickness is gained, and the volume with its outline is evident
You get the final density and a natural hairline
Free, before the operation; nothing is taken on.

Of course it is. Nobody is refused because their home sits outside the immediate region, and advice online is available in advance.
Prices start at $2,200 (≈ LYD 14,500) for FUE, $2,500 (≈ LYD 16,000) for DHI, and $2,700 (≈ LYD 17,500) for the combined method. Your final price is set after a free graft count and locked into the contract.
You spend a day on it and return home once it finishes.
No — the numbing is local and lasts through the whole operation.
FUE is cut-free graft extraction by tweezer. DHI is direct implantation with a Choi pen, skipping channel-making. The combined technique takes grafts by FUE and places them using the DHI method.
At the free consultation, the doctor counts the grafts you need according to your donor area.
Count on 0–10 days until the skin is sound. Shedding comes at 2–4 weeks and is expected. Hair begins growing at 3–4 months, looks dense at 6–9 months, reaching its final state at 12–18 months.
A contract-backed, lifetime guarantee of hair growth comes with every procedure.
The clinic runs on a medical licence, care follows the standards and clinical guidelines
of the Ministry of Health.

For a resident of Khoms the method matters more than the map: FUE and DHI leave no cuts and no stitches, run under local anaesthesia and take one day. Graft survival is 98-100 %, and a price from $2,200 (≈ LYD 14,500) is locked in the contract after a free graft count.
For someone in Khoms the whole beginning is online and free of charge: photos of the thinning area go to the doctor, who looks at them and counts the grafts. The clinic keeps in touch 24/7, in the hours you are actually awake.
Healing occupies 0-10 days. At 2-4 weeks the transplanted hairs shed, which is normal and temporary. Growth starts at 3-4 months, density by 6-9 and the final result at 12-18. Your personal coordinator checks progress by photo at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, with a lifetime growth guarantee.
Prices are in US dollars; the amount in brackets is an approximate conversion to LYD at the rate of 02.10.2026. The final price is fixed in your contract.

I had the operation a month ago. Before and after surgery they were always in touch and helped with questions about my tests. The operation itself went wonderfully, the staff are polite and masters of their craft, you feel you are in safe hands. I am recovering now, and they answer all my questions. I am happy and I recommend them!

The best clinic of all the ones I was choosing from. No regrets at all! The result is simply amazing, I am thrilled. I recommend it to everyone: these people do great work and make people happy. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone. Roman, the head of the clinic, is the best: he was personally in touch with me and looked after my recovery. Thank you for making my dream come true.

I thought about an eyebrow transplant for a long time and finally went for it. At first I was afraid the result would look unnatural, but when I saw my new eyebrows I was delighted! They came out full and in harmony with my face. I can hardly believe that now I just wash my face and go, I have never felt so free. For anyone tired of constant make-up, a transplant is a real lifesaver!

I really wanted a thick beard, but I had problems with it. I tried every home remedy and minoxidil, and nothing helped. After a long search for the best clinic I settled on this one. Thank you so much for the service, I liked everything and now I am happy! I had the beard transplant 10 months ago and I am very pleased with the result. By the way, the music in the clinic was great, as far as I remember. A friend of mine has already come to you for a transplant on my advice and was also happy with the result. I wish you every success!

I went to the clinic to see a trichologist and had a hair transplant. I really liked the doctor's approach, and all the recommendations helped. I want to point out that nobody tries to sell you extra services: they tell you things as they are, and if some treatment is not needed, they do not push it. Cosy and clean.

This may sound obvious, but a head of hair really changes everything in your life. You feel much more confident and go through life like a winner. And it is all thanks to the doctor at this clinic and to the staff who take care of their patients. Many thanks to the clinic for a happy life with new hair, for the comfortable conditions and for the professionalism during the hair transplant.
FUE hair transplant
With 390,943 residents on the 2018 count, Al-Khums has no shortage of men and women who have watched a hairline creep back or a crown turn thin and wondered whether it is worth acting. The first answer does not need an appointment. It needs four sets of photographs: the hairline from the front, both temples from the sides, the crown from above, and the back of the head, because that is where the donor hair grows. Together they show how much density is available and how large the gap is.
Take them in daylight beside a window, with dry, combed hair and no gel, spray or cap, holding the camera about an arm's length away. Short-cropped hair is fine, but say so, since length changes how thin things look. If you can, shoot a second round with wet hair, which exposes gaps that dry hair hides. A week later repeat the same angles. Two matching sets show the surgeon that he is looking at your normal state and not a lucky or unlucky morning.
Then write a few lines about your hair history: when the thinning began, whether your father's or mother's side has it, what you have tried and what changed, and what you want most, whether that is a firmer frontal line, more density at the crown or both. Honest detail beats a flattering photo. A transplant plan has to allow for the chance that thinning continues afterwards, which is why a surgeon asks about your history before he talks about graft numbers.
The first reply usually arrives in three parts: whether the donor area looks sufficient for what you want, whether the front or the crown should come first, and what is still missing from your file, such as medicines or blood tests. The whole exchange stays in one Telegram or Telegram thread, and the coordinators on the other side are online around the clock. That lets you reread it with your wife or brother in the evening and add the question that came to you after the shop closed.
A hair transplant is performed under local anaesthesia: the doctors numb the area being worked on so you stay comfortable throughout. You are awake, able to talk, sit back, take breaks, and listen to a recitation or a podcast through earphones if the team allows. Ask beforehand what you may bring, because a long day passes more lightly when there is something to occupy your mind, and a charged phone with headphones is rarely refused.
The time spent at the clinic is a single day, after which you go home. That short sentence hides plenty of small logistics: who drives you there and back, what you eat beforehand, which shirt to wear so you can take it off without pulling anything over your head, and which medicines pause and which continue. Request a written list of these points at least two days ahead and stick it on the kitchen door where the whole household can see it. Calm preparation beats last-minute scrambling every time.
The port of Al-Khums has nine quays, and no ship enters before its berth and time slot are fixed. A good surgeon works the same way: before your day he decides the path the follicles will take from the donor area to the recipient area, how many stages the case may need, and the direction and angle of the hairs along the front edge. None of this should be improvised on the day. Ask how he will draw your hairline, whether you will see it on your face before work begins, and whether you are free to ask for changes.
Back home you sleep in a half-sitting position, and some people use a U-shaped pillow around the neck so the head never touches the cloth. Nobody touches the grafted area, and you must not scratch it however much it itches. Tell the household now, because a toddler patting your head or a grandchild hugging you can undo careful work. Make it clear to everyone that for a while your scalp is a freshly planted field, and nobody walks across it.
The first ten days are about healing: crusts come off, swelling goes down and the area gradually settles. This is the most delicate stretch, so keep friction, knocks and any product the surgeon did not prescribe away from your head. Keep your outings few and avoid crowded gatherings while the scabs are visible. Anyone who rushes these ten days usually ends up losing the time he thought he was saving, because this stage is respected, not shortened.
Between the second and fourth week something happens that alarms people who have not been warned: the transplanted hairs themselves fall out. It is a normal stage in which only the hairs shed while the follicles stay put in the skin. Tell your family in advance so nobody phones you in a panic believing the operation failed. If this phase coincides with a wedding season or a family event, plan for it now with a light cap if the surgeon permits one, or a comfortable traditional head cover, and the phase will pass without embarrassment.
New growth starts at around three to four months, as fine hairs appear and thicken little by little. Someone treated in autumn will see the first signs in the cool days of January and February, when Al-Khums averages 17.9 and 18.7 degrees by day, a fitting climate for patience. From six to nine months visible density arrives, and the main volume and outline become clear. Photograph your head once a month from the same angles in the same light, and you will see for yourself that progress is slow but real.
The final result forms between twelve and eighteen months, when the final density and a natural hairline take shape. Months with nothing impressive to show are not a failure; they are a timetable written by biology before the surgeon was involved. Keep a photo diary with the date of each stage and bring it to every check-up. A surgeon who sees a dated series can confirm that things are moving as they should, and if something needs attention he catches it early.
August is the hottest month in the city, with highs averaging 32.0 degrees and lows of 22.9, while July is close behind at 31.7 and 22.3. A freshly grafted scalp cannot take direct sun, and for this reason many people schedule treatment after the height of summer when they can, and keep avoiding strong sun afterwards as their surgeon directs. Ask exactly which headwear is allowed, when to start wearing it and when to stop, because each stage has a different answer.
The local economy rests on the port, maritime trade, olive growing, fishing and cement manufacturing, and each of those trades has an enemy of the new scalp: cement dust, salt spray, orchard sun and the morning wind on a boat. The time you need to stay away from them differs by job. A port-office employee goes back sooner, while someone working among dust and damp needs a longer pause set by the surgeon. Ask for the date of your own return to your own work.
The beaches of Barku and Tuwaybiyah lie close to the city, but salt water and sand are not friends of a grafted scalp in its first weeks. Leave the shore until your surgeon agrees, and keep your head out of any sea or swimming pool before then. If the children keep pressing for a beach day, promise them an open date; waiting with a clear promise is easier on everyone than a hurried outing, and you protect what has been built so carefully.
Winter brings 17.9 degrees by day and 9.3 at night in January, and 18.7 and 9.4 in February, with about 30.9 rainy days in the year and roughly six of them in January. In those weeks you need a clean, light, approved head covering, an umbrella that keeps rain off without touching the area, and care on slippery ground so you do not fall and knock your head. Wash the scalp the way the team explains, not the way you have always done.
Leptis Magna, founded by the Phoenicians and flourishing under Septimius Severus between 193 and 211, shows what planning before building can do. Ask every provider for a written plan that names the technique, the expected number of sessions, the donor area, how the hairline will be drawn and what follow-up is arranged. Lay the plans side by side and compare lines, not pretty phrases.
A surgeon's papers are checked before trust is given: his full name, his exact specialty in hair restoration, his documented experience with the procedure he will perform on you, a licence number you can verify, and examples of results photographed twelve months or more after surgery, not the day after. If someone shows pictures with no dates, ask when they were taken, because the gap between two months and eight months is enormous.
Ask how many grafts are planned for your case and how the surgeon arrived at that number. A figure without a reason means nothing. Ask what happens if the first session does not cover everything you want and who takes responsibility for what comes next. These questions separate a team that treats a transplant as a long working relationship from one that treats it as an operation to be done and forgotten.
The Severan Basilica still stands with its quays and its square because its builders laid the foundation with care. A hair transplant deserves the same: verified information, a plan on paper, a surgeon who describes the limits of your donor area honestly, and then time to think at home in Al-Khums without hurry. If an offer passes these tests, move forward at ease. If it does not, keep searching, because transplanted hair will be with you for decades.
Photograph the hairline from the front, the temples from both sides, the crown from above and the back of the head, in daylight, with dry hair and no product. Add a short note about when the thinning began, what you have tried and whether it runs in the family. The surgeon reads the set and gives a frank first estimate of whether the donor area is sufficient and what should be covered first, with no appointment needed.
It is done under local anaesthesia, where the doctors numb the working area so you remain comfortable throughout. There is no need for general anaesthesia or an overnight stay. Ask the team about your regular medicines, the best last meal beforehand and the right clothing, since preparing those details in advance makes the day easier.
One day, and then you go home. Arrange for a relative to drive you there and back, prepare a half-sitting sleeping position and a neck pillow, and tell everyone in the house that nobody should touch your head. If small children live with you, explain it to them early in simple words so nothing is knocked by accident.
Nothing except wait. Between weeks two and four the transplanted hairs themselves shed, which is a normal stage in which the follicles stay in place. Do not try remedies of your own, and if you feel uneasy, send the team a clear photo; they will tell the normal phase apart from anything that needs a closer look.
Growth begins at three to four months, visible density arrives between six and nine months, and the final density and a natural hairline take shape at twelve to eighteen months. Do not judge the outcome in the early months. Photograph monthly from fixed angles in fixed light and bring the series to each check-up.
Only after the surgeon allows it. Salt, sand, strong sun and shared water do not suit a scalp in its early weeks. The beaches of Barku and Tuwaybiyah will still be there, so ask at each check-up what is permitted, write it down, and do not rely on what a friend who had the procedure earlier was told.
Ask for a written plan naming the technique, number of sessions and donor area, plus the surgeon's name, precise specialty, documented experience and a licence number that can be verified, along with dated result photos from a year or more after surgery. Then try a hard question about follow-up; a clear, unhurried answer says more than any bold promise.
If pain goes beyond the prescribed relief, swelling keeps growing rather than going down, a fever appears, there is an unusual discharge, or bleeding does not stop with gentle pressure. Do not wait for morning. The Telegram and Telegram line is open at any hour, so attach a clear photo and say when the sign appeared, which lets the team assess it quickly.
