What is regenerative
joint treatment?

Instead of implants or foreign substances, regenerative joint treatment uses you as the source: platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your blood and the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) from a small adipose tissue sample. It is injected into the troubled joint to lower pain and inflammation and support the tissues inside.

Joint pain and a wish to avoid or put off surgery, or a verdict that replacement is the only route — these are the typical reasons people come. An earlier stage of the condition means a better chance of lasting relief, and the doctor assesses it from your scans.

Joints we treat

We treat large and small joints — which joint, which method and how many injections is decided by the doctor after a scan review

Methods we use

Cell therapy (SVF) from your own adipose tissue

Processing a small sample of adipose tissue yields the stromal vascular fraction (SVF), a blend of cells that help tissue repair. The doctor combines it with your plasma and injects it into the problem joint.

When the joint has more noticeable changes and you want the effect to last longer, this is the usual choice.

PRP — platelet-rich plasma from your own blood

Platelet- and growth-factor-rich plasma is obtained from a little of your blood and injected into the joint, where it helps calm inflammation and improves the conditions for tissue repair.

It can be a course of injections on its own or be combined with SVF.

How the procedure goes: step by step

Consultation and scan review

The doctor examines your joint, looks at your X-rays, MRI or ultrasound and decides whether the procedure is right for you. Scans you already have can be sent ahead of the visit.

Blood sample for PRP

Blood is drawn from a vein — only a small amount. Later, platelet-rich plasma with growth factors is made from it.

The doctor tells you in advance which tests are needed.

Adipose tissue sample

With local anaesthetic, a small amount of adipose tissue (around 30 ml) is taken via a puncture on the abdomen or inner thigh — without stitches.

Processing in a centrifuge

The sample goes into a centrifuge, where it separates into layers. The stromal vascular fraction is isolated and mixed with your platelet-rich plasma.
The whole procedure is done in one day.

Injection into the joint

Ultrasound guidance allows the prepared material to be injected precisely, directly into the affected joint.

Follow-up

Afterwards there are no crutches and no hospital stay, and the doctor keeps in touch to follow how the joint is responding.

Follow-up visits

After 1 month
3 months
6 months

At follow-up visits the doctor sees how the joint is responding and adjusts the plan: pain usually eases in the first month, mobility improves over roughly three months, and the full effect develops over about six months.

After the procedure

Most people go home the same day and return to normal daily activity within a day or two; the puncture sites are covered with small dressings. During the first week the joint may ache a little more — this is an expected reaction. Over the first month the pain usually eases, over about three months mobility and activity improve, and the full effect develops over around six months. How long it lasts differs from person to person and depends on the stage of the condition, body weight, activity and other factors — no one can promise a fixed result. The doctor gives you individual advice on exercise and load for the first weeks.

Everything about regenerative joint treatment in Hyderabad

The method relies on your own tissue only, so there is no donor or synthetic material. Plasma is prepared from a small blood sample, and SVF from about 30 ml of adipose tissue taken through a puncture. This is how non-surgical joint treatment works for everyone in Hyderabad.

PRP can be given as a course of injections or together with SVF. The number of injections and the method are chosen individually for each patient from Hyderabad after the examination and scan review.

The cost of joint treatment depends on the joint, the stage of the condition and the method, so the price is set at the consultation. The initial consultation and review of your scans are free for patients from Hyderabad. Leave your name and phone number, and a coordinator will contact you.
